Thank you and be safe!

I wouldn't. Until you get the go-ahead to relist, you could get into even more trouble with ebay if you do.

I relisted with new photos and a new title and new description. Annnnd they just yanked it. Reason this time: "Insufficient description of the item or no photos of the item". Wtf! I always list the full 12 photos, and I'm super thorough with my descriptions. I'm very upset, this is completely unfair and there's nothing I can even do. I take selling very seriously and this just sucks. Sorry for venting, I'm so disappointed with eBay right now [emoji853]

Thank you, I felt pretty sure this one was authentic. I'm a little shocked they pulled this listing. I have some other vintage bags up and have good feedback, I hope someone isn't just reporting me to be a jerk! Guess this bag can go up on etsy. I'm not sure it's worth making a stink over with eBay
Called eBay. Our conversation did not go well. He said that the story patch photo was deemed inauthentic according to their Coach-provided guides. I explained to him why my bag is authentic and that I'm very familiar with vintage Coach. Long story short, it got heated and in the end they still won't let me relist. [emoji107]
Are you f-ing kidding? "Coach-provided guides?"

Check your PMs.

That's exactly what I told him, that they are interpreting their "guide" incorrectly. He sounded sympathetic to my plight, but in the end wouldn't help me. He said "I would tell you how you could improve your listing so this doesn't happen again, but I don't want to give you false information." So I think I will just relist with new photos and hope for the best.

I was going to say that you should NEVER relist when an item is removed because of being disallowed (counterfeit, banned). You're already on ebay's radar so they keep closer tabs on your account.

When an item is removed as counterfeit and proven not to be fake, you have to get authorization from ebay allowing you to relist.

Yes, I realize now I made a boo-boo. Honestly, I've reported some really bad fakes before that haven't been removed so I figured they weren't on top of it and I could try to relist. My mistake.

They don't care what the forum say. I linked to the authentication last time in every email and they still chose to disregard.
Most (reputable) companies accept professional authentications from companies known to use authenticators that know their brands. (I know A4U does Coach.)

Have you already disputed this newest fake from POSHMARK and again they're insisting that it's genuine? I hope you're using a credit card to pay!

As for my feelings toward PM, this only goes to confirm and further reinforce my previous opinion. They are no better than iOffer and in fact worse since they claim items are authentic when they clearly are not!

I shall continue to not authenticate Poshmark items (unless to confirm fake) and will also recommend against doing business with Poshmark.

It looks like this Stewardess doesn't have the creed. Am I missing something here?

I don't see one either. I would be surprised if it was actually made by Coach. The shape of the interior bottom piece is curved at the sides - it is squared on mine. The top of the flap bends up at the sides. It is supposed to taper here so this doesn't happen. I think the flap is slightly too short and the turnlock is a little too high. Even with all of these, they are just very slight differences. Personally I wouldn't report it as there isn't enough concrete proof.

I'd have to agree, PM if dealt with at all should be used with extreme caution and every Coach item authenticated.

I've only dealt with them once, the red Willis-type mini-brief that we talked about a few days ago, and I'm glad to report that it's absolutely genuine although I still don't have a name for it. But if the "venue" won't accept solid proofs that something is fake, they're not a place that inexperienced brand buyers or collectors should risk dealing with.

So far I have only submitted the photos they requested. At first I only submitted the stamp photo pointing out the spelling error and the lack of a serial number. They replied back asking for additional photos of hardware and where it is made in. Again I pointed out the stamp clearly says where it was made. But they don't read anything. If they did then just the first photo is all they would've needed to know the item is counterfeit.

Since you know from first-hand experience that Poshmark and its authentication team don't know diddly about Coach, perhaps letting the seller know that she sold a fake might help. Have you tried contacting misjamaica - Carolyn's closet? Perhaps if you direct her here, there's a chance she may be honest and will issue a full refund. (If she's smart, she won't waste her money paying shipping for you to return it since reselling is illegal, particularly now that she knows it's fake.)
