Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock

Is there a tag inside the pocket with the style number on it and/or a tag that shows where it was made? It is most likely coated canvas, not cross-grain, since it has Cs.

Hi, I just received my Coach Gramercy today and I have looked it over several times and took many pictures because something seems off about the bag for instance in certain areas the stitching is horrible, the bag feels very light and there is really no leather smell. I purchased this bag on eBay a few days ago.

There should be 2 white fabric tags on the inside, usually one is along a side seam and shows where it was made and the other is deep inside one of the inside pockets and has 2 lines of production codes. We need to see photos of those.

Sorry, I can't help with newer styles. Keep in mind that Coach stitching isn't always perfect, and most Coach leathers nowadays often don't smell or feel like leather any more, that's been mentioned by a lot of buyers.

I usually don't authenticate newer bags but there don't seem to be any obvious problems. More opinions are welcome

I'm just not sure because there are many areas of mis-stitching/crooked stitching around the top areas on the interior, the detachable strap also has crooked stitching and to top it off the Coach logo on the front of the bag is slightly crooked? Is that normal these days for Coach to put out horribly stitched and just overall poorly made bags and charge $700 + for these purses? Or are we dealing with counterfeit bags that are putting the correct labeling in the bags and passing them off as authentic? I'm so stressed out about this bag because I've wanted one for awhile now and I finally get one and so many things just seem off about it. I have searched the Internet for detailed pictures but no one ever really shows the stitching on their bags. However, I do thank you once again for your input..it is much appreciated

This is one reason I don't authenticate newer styles - if a style has quality problems I won't know, since I don't buy newer styles and don't have the time or patience to read every post at the main Coach board where buyers who have noticed problems with things like stitching will usually discuss them. Unfortunately we're one authenticator short right now, all I can do is suggest that you wait for more opinions, if anyone familiar with that style notices your post. Or do a search at the main Coach forum for Gramercy and see if anyone else reported problems with the recent version style 33638..

Or you could try posting there and asking if anyone who has the same style has noticed the same problems. Be sure to specify the style name and number in the post title.
