Item: Saddle bag
Creed: F9B-9988
Link: https://www.tradesy.com/bags/coach-leather-saddle-cross-body-bag-green-14624893/
Seller: Gold & Beyond on Tradesy
Did you read the seller's description? She has no idea what she is selling. She copied the description for a much newer bag. I can't read the creed but I believe it is fake. I've never seen this style in unusual colors. Coach did make a kiwi green in 1997/1998 but it had brass hardware, not silver. This green seems not quite the same color and inside looks white. There are other things about the bag that seems off.

A rant about Tradesy: Tradesy is forcing out their small sellers in favor of large sellers like this that don't know anything about their products.

Hello! I wonder if I could get an opinion on this Ashley bag. It looks good, but I notice the creed has different wording than I see elsewhere. Thanks so much (:

Whateve made some good observations. The color to me coulod be Mimosa, which had that same pale yellowish-green look to it. But that was a color used only in Spring and Summer 1997, not 1999,

The creed and serial number are SOOOOO close, but comparing them to another B plant bag from Fall 1999, there are several small differences in the shape of some of the numbers especially the 9s, and in the serifs, or lack of them, in the N in "No" just to name the ones that caught my eye. It seems to be a very close fake, but still a bit "off" if you know what to look for.

He are the creed of the pale green bag and of an October 1999 B-plant bag I believe to be genuine:

LOL.. no I am not much of a reader. :P I just did and yeah it doesn't match at all. But I did notice the hardware and I have yet to come across a lime green leather bag that is not a fake. Always like to be sure before I report an item. Thank you for confirming!

These are the exact reasons I post to confirm. I am not knowledgeable enough to catch those differences in fonts or know which color was released during which years. I love that you guys can catch that so quick! Thank you so so much @whateve and @Hyacinth! Truly appreciate your service!

Aha, that creed picture was added after my post! I agree.
