Item: British Tan Carousel Bag
Seller: KrissyKatVINTAGE

Comments: This bag is on my wish list. Although it would be even better in a lighter color leather. I messaged her for a closeup of the creed patch as well.
Thank you!

So far it looks ok, but I really want to see the serial number to be completely sure. BTW, it's not from the 1980s like the seller claims, that style wasn't introduced until Spring of 1994 so it shouldn't be any older than that.

Welcome to the purse forum! Bags with a style number of 99999 can't be authenticated. I've heard them called "sample bags" yet there is no way to prove that these were actually made by Coach or that they were made on the date that appears on the creed, in this case 2006. This style was released around 2010. It really doesn't make sense that Coach would have made a sample bag 4 years before a style was released. The wording on the creed doesn't match creeds that were actually made in 2006, which is a major problem. It is the wording Coach was using in 2010. How could this happen if it was actually made in 2006? I think your bag is a very close fake.

Where did you get these? The price tags aren't right.

WOW.

Yes, where DID you get them? If you can provide links to the website or place where you bought them and tell us how you paid for them - cash, credit card, bank transfer - we may be able to help you get your money back if they're fake. There's more wrong with those than just the price tags. And can you take a close-up photo of the leather patch inside the black one?

She responded! Here are the photos she sent me.

Sorry we missed your question!

I'm seeing H2B-9992 in the photo but the seller's description says it's H6C. The B plant MAY have still been open in the first half of 2002 but I can't find any proof of anything past a G code. The padded area above the turnlock is also a problem, It would surprise me if this style was still being made in 2002.

And the final nail in the coffin is a comparison of this creed and the two GENUINE ones here from the B plant. So yes, it's fake:
