Comment: Is this authentic? IT's got that weird "COMPLFTFLY" in the stamp and the serial number is also strange.

Fake.
Daria48 says "ANY serial number divided into 3 or 4 parts with spaces or dashes is fake. Coach serial numbers NEVER have more than 2 sections, not counting the "No" in front of the actual serial number."
Also the cartouche is wrong. I wonder why the Es in the word "Completely" are different than all the other Es in the creed.

I rememer the Daria part but also recently when we were discussing Coach Girly bags @Hyacinth mentioned one of the bags that had that weird stamp but was authentic. It's the serial number that is throwing me off because that doesn't look valid.

ETA: I was wondering if that same goofy stamp was also used here and other style bags also got the same stamp.

Could be. Also notice the wording, "made of a completely natural" instead of "made out of".

If it was made by Coach, it would have a creed. Ask the seller to look in the front pocket.

Thanks, Whateve, in fact, the seller does mention it's "guaranteed authentic, but these purses did not come with the Coach placard inside". No intention to buy, just wanted to verify before reporting it as a fake.

Also, I have a feeling here's another stone that is about to kill two birds at once. And the new one is quite expensive and the auction is almost over!

Both have the same creed number 8963. I'm almost 100% sure they're fake, just need it to be confirmed.

Thanks!

They are both fake. Neither have Coach hardware and both have lots of other things wrong with them.

ETA: I wouldn't report the other one you asked about, the one where the seller said it didn't have a "Coach placard". It could be okay.

Fake, please report. Fake creed and serial number stamps, no plant code or valid style number

C6C-8963 is also listed in the Daria48 Fake Numbers List Part 2 as Always Fake, and there's no record of any handbag with an -8963 style number.

I don't remember anything in the Girlie Bag discussion that would have looked like that serial number.

Any serial number that's not divided correctly by dashes and where the last section is only 2 numbers is fake, like the B4-796-31 in the fake listing. The only exceptions are the all-number ones from the late 1980s where the dash between the two halves was replaced by a number. But, as always, please ask here if you're not 100 percent sure.
