Item: COACH Metro Large Tote #31326 Vermilliion
Listing number:142037812592
Seller: hmgallagher
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/358-00-COAC...iion-MINT-LN-FREE-SHIPPING-/142037812592?rd=1

Comments: Ugh.... Bag seemed spot on, but seller does not think the quality is legitimate. Quality looked perfect to me. I know I've seen this style/color creed without
numbering, but now I can only find two. All the other bags I see are factory. I was thinking this bag was Japanese, but now I can't remember.

If I'm not mistaken these are all MFF. Those without numbers in the creed were made a little later, when Coach stopped putting numbers in the creeds and before they started putting the numbers on tags in the pockets. I don't see any problems at all. Your buyer might not be familiar with the cross-grain leather that Coach uses. It feels more plasticky than glove-tanned leather. The SAs at my factory store told me people love it because it wears well.

Thank you. I have a return case so I wanted to be sure and have it authenticated.

I agree that the bag is fine.

In the future, I'd suggest that for newer items without serial number, include a picture of the white tag in your listings.

Hello Ladies! These are my recent finds, would like to know if genuine & would be curious of style name/number, and perhaps approximate year. The smaller one doesn't have a patch, but has a sewn in cloth tag. It measures about 7 inches wide by 4 inches tall. The larger one has a patch, but not numbered. That one measures 7 1/4 inches wide by 9 inches tall with a strap drop of about 24 inches in the picture. Many thanks!

The top one is a 4752 Hamptons Leather Swingpack, maybe from around 2003-2005. The second is some kind of Soho Leather wristlet, that's all I know about it.

there was a duffle similar to the wristlet with the buckles made in 2005, but I think they've made similar styles since then, particularly for factory. If there is a dot on the label, it was made for factory.

Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/27242316577...90447919659&bu=43158503269&cp=1&sojTags=bu=bu
Creed: J8Y-9038
Seller: edijon
Comment: I've never seen a valid J8Y, is this one of them?
I asked for a better photo but that's the best the seller could do with the camera he/she owns. The seller said it was made in China.
Daria48 hath writ:
"J8Y- and J8H- prefixes - UPDATE
every J8Y- AND J8H- prefix is fake and all the photos I have of bags with that prefix, from the almost perfect fakes to the really obvious ones, all have exactly the same font in the serial number, which is proof that they're all from the same source and therefore, all fake."
