Lol I was wrong! The creed looked a little odd to me....that's why I ask the pros! With a serial number like that how do you know when it was made?
We can only estimate. The NYC creeds were used from the late 70s until the late 80s, so it could have been made anytime between then. Sometimes a style was only made for a short time and then we can narrow it down more.

Hi all! I purchased a lot of vintage Coach bags from Goodwill.com, and I have some questions about this one... mostly because the inside leather is wearing off? I suppose the previous owner could have done something to the inside, but there are parts of it that are almost white due to the suede-y material being rubbed off! My mom has used/abused her station bags for YEARS, and the insides don't look like this!
Anyway, here is the bag (which might be a convertible clutch if the #s are right... any idea on the year?). Sorry if the photos are huge, and let me know if more photos are needed! For some reason they are coming out overexposed-looking tonight!

It's a genuine Convertible Clutch made in 1994

Hi. I'm new here, so bear with me I just purchased this bag from eBay and would like to verify that it is authentic Coach. Thank you in advance.

Sometimes the areas around the seams are scraped to reduce the thickness of the leather where the bag is to be sewn. Is this what you're seeing?

Thank you! I thought so because of the "4" in the first 3 digits, but since it was a stamped-type of creed (where you see the lines above/below the numbers), I wondered if it may be older, haha :)

Yes, that's what mine looks like in the main compartment! I have included photos, but it's actually scraped away in the corners and on the edges (near the top - in the first photo you can see it on the top left). Also, I have included a photo of the interior zipper pocket where the one side is fine, but the opposite side is all beige/white, where it looks like the dye has rubbed off. Does yours look like that?
When I looked inside the zipper pocket for the first time I thought it was dust, like someone's powder compact had burst, and that it had absorbed into the corners, lol! But otherwise the bag is in great condition (except for a weird perfume-y odor), so I'm just happy it's authentic and the scraped interior isn't a quality issue

The back wall inside the zipper pocket looks fine. The back side of the leather was scraped to thin it. I've seen this on a number of vintage bags.

Looks just like the other Italian-made Manhattan Collection bag we talked about a little while ago. Please let an authenticator confirm this particular one...

Another one I found made in Italy.
Is this authentic?

Comment: also name if you know it.

One of the 1997 Manhattan Collection bags, I believe all of which were made in Italy. Similar to, but to be confused with, the Riverside from the 1990 Lightweights collection. Please allow an authenticator to confirm.
It's a genuine Tote from the 1997 Manhattan Collection but they're not in any of my catalogs and I don't have a confirmed name for it.
