Thank you again Hyacinth and Whateve. I really appreciate that you don't mind to share your time and expertise.

I imagine that for those of you that have been using and collecting Vintage Coach for a long time, it comes to a point where you look for a certain style or color to add to your collections. In my case everything and I mean everything, LOL is different, exciting.. My criteria for buying is that they catch my eye, I think that I can make them look better and of course they are in my budget.

I found an interesting label inside the pocket of the Mulberry, I do not know if it's significant or not, but I wanted to share in case that might help with authentications.

Very interesting! Someone else on one of the boards mentioned an early magnetic snap label in a vintage bag, and this is the first picture I've seen. It has the ROMAG/COMAG trademark and the US patent number, and since it's from a Mulberry we know it's from the 1991-92 time period. Definitely unusual, and absolutely genuine. :smile1:

ETA - CONCERNING MAGNETIC SNAPS:
Coach used mostly ROMAG or COMAG magnetic snaps, but justy like zippers they also used a few other brands. Early mag snap bags were probably introduced in the mid to later 1980s and sometimes used TOWANNY brand snaps especially in some of the Lightweights.

Any time you see a standard size magnetic snap, check the stamping on the "male" piece. If it does NOT have a valid US Patent number, or just says "magnet", ALWAYS have it authenticated here! Include a photo of both sides of the stamp if you can.

AND JUST LIKE WITH ZIPPERS, FINDING ONE OF THE "RIGHT" BRANDS DOESN'T PROVE IT'S GENUINE! But finding one of the "wrong" stampings is a red flag.

Thank you -if ok, what is it named??

It's NOT OK, it's a complete FAKE. Fake style, and a very fake serial number with an incorrect font, invalid plant code, month code, and creed statement formatting for the supposed year code (2002) and a style number belonging ONLY to a mid-size Multi Zip handbag.

Please report, everyone.

BB, can you check the seller's Dooney?

Thanks Hyacinth I've been to one outlet in Cookstown (a tanger outlet) but not much selection there but I will take your advice and not rush into buying. Thanks for all your help
Hyacinth gave good advice. You can get better deals sometimes at the Coach outlet in Cookstown than what some are selling for on eBay plus you know they are new and genuine. I got a purse style F31323 there for 89.00. The tag says 398.00 but usually MFF styles are 50% off the ticketed prices. But $89.00 was a steal. I also got a quilted Legacy Penny style 25822 for $79.00 which was regularly 228.00.

Those are great prices. It's crazy some of the prices for them on ebay.
