Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.

Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:
  • FOR ITEMS LISTED ONLINE:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

1996 is fantastic! I didn't think I would find anything from the 90's new. I stopped looking for a few months and then bam, this one popped up. I need a new one for winter. Thanks again. I'm eyeing another but waiting for a better photo of the cred to give you guys.

Cheers. I wondered as something didn't seem right. I also checked her feedback and its 100% so that's a shame. I thought it might be too good to be true in finding another older Willis that's authentic and that hasn't been used.

It might be okay, especially with the X. I can't remember at the moment what it means but I've never seen a fake with it. However, I have a very good fake of this style in my closet so I'd be extra careful. I need to see the number font, and the back of the female part turnlock, under the top flap, would also be nice.

It's been a while since I've seen a fake X and they're few and far between.

Coach stamped X on full priced style bags that were sent to discounters like Marshalls, TJ's, the old Filene's Basement, etc. Items with X weren't eligible for warranty or returns to Coach.

I just searched and found your good fake 9043 photos. Wow.. that is pretty good. I wouldn't have able to tell apart from an original!
