This didn't say anything about Bonnie cash in.. is this authentic?
https://poshmark.com/listing/Maroon-coach-tote-purse-574df34a620ff7d10000aca0
Identification: Late 1970s #9546 Skinny Tote. I believe that this particular version (with the leather wrapped kisslock frame) was the last rendition released. The Bonnie Cashin design from which this evolved was the #8605 Skinny Tote (which had a fabric lining, 6" drop rigid handles, and some variation in the stitching and construction along both the upper and lower edges).

Has anyone ever seen a fake bag with a glued-in registration number and the MADE IN NEW YORK CITY USA creed with the registration symbol attached to the word COACH?

Is this D8J- Stewardess bag authentic?

Item: Vintage 70's Coach Stewardess Bag, # 9525 Black, Made in USA
Listing number: 322231359760
Seller: araujoo (300 )

Comments:
Ignoring the 1970s claim (#9525 may be a late 1970s design, but tis on certainly doesn't date from anywhere near that period). D8J- Coaches with serial numbers starting with D8J- especially older bags need to be looked at carefully since fakes have been spotted with this combination.

Yay! That would be me! Wahoo!! Just curious, what's it worth these days?
Like all things vintage COACH, prices obtained vary all over the place and are obviously highly dependent on condition and color. The typical returns I've seen for #9546 bags seem to range from $50-$200, with most sales biased towards the lower half of that spectrum. I suspect that obtaining a high figure is a matter of luck and the presence of a buyer who is looking for that exact style, color and having one in top condition.

It's fake. J was never a code used for a US plant.

Hi kindly authenticate! I purchased this because I've been looking for a duffle (any size) in thrift stores and flea markets for over a year to no avail. This one looks so clean, as if it's only had one owner and been stored for a while.

Please wait for other opinions but I have doubts about this bag. The serial font doesn't match what I believe it should look like.

Compare the serial number stamping from 4storytownhome:

Compare to this one from the same month/year/plant:

And this from the same factory but a year earlier;

I agree. Any bag is worth whatever someone is willing to pay, which can fluctuate because so much depends on condition, color, current demand, rarity, etc.

That being said, I've been looking for a Skinny Tote in brown or tan, and haven't found one in nice condition for under $75 or so, lately.

A burgundy one in nice condition recently sold on eBay for $198 (an example of RL Bernstein's statement above.).
