This way was actually a lot easier! I don't know why I thought that screen shots of everything would be better. It was late and I wasn't thinking straight...
All look good except for #5. 5 might be okay but I can't read the creed and can't find a style that matches that number.

Holy heck I'm proud of myself!! I actually did a pretty good treasure hunt. I am paranoid especially with the poppy style. I can't wait to start learning the rehab techniques. This is so fun just as a hobby, or would be excellent for gifting, or even to resell later. Thanks again! Should I re-post in the other thread for good finds?

Number 5 is style 15463. I don't know the exact name but it's a Poppy Tartan Sig - Shoulder bag, Crossbody, or something like that. It's genuine. The crossbody strap may be missing but if you need one, Silver-Coach at Ebay or Bonanza or Mautto.com should have a close copy .

BTW, the seller says "All offers Ive seen some models like this online where the C are not centered and they are said to be authentic". I don't know if she's implying that all those OTHER Poppy Sigs are fake because the Cs aren't centered, but that's another example of the issue I was ranting and raving about earlier in my comments about useless and dangerous "authenticity guides" and why I hate them so much. The Salearea Coach Guide on "Authenticity Guide Facts and Myths" covers that exact "problem" and clearly states under "THE CENTERED C RULE or THE C'S ARE PERFECTLY STRAIGHT RULE "
"The center seam or a line down the front of a bag with Signature or Op Art C's should usually divide it into 2 halves that are mirror images of each other.
But:

Sometimes the back isn't correctly centered like style 10483 and the front is mistaken for the back.
Some C patterns on styles like some older Scribble Hobos don't follow the rule.
Some Messenger Bags like # 70077, Heritage Stripe Crossbody Messenger have NOTHING centered.
"... Most Signature Tartan Plaid bags and accessories made for the outlets in 2010 and 2011 don't follow the Rule, like #15229, 15485 and a bunch more."
"Some older bags with Shearling Lamb trim from 2005 like 8K47, 8K48, have the C's set at a 45-degree angle, and so do some of the coated Canvas items sold at the outlets in 2011. "

If that doesn't prove why almost all "guides" are dangerous except for the ones that have actually been RESEARCHED, I don't know what does. And yes, I DO own 3 Poppy Sig Tartan bags and one wallet in that pattern (2 are pink/purple, one is red/black, one is navy plaid), one of them bought right from the outlet, and NONE of them have a centered C pattern.

DO NOT BUY #1 from seller leidymarino! Sabrina style bags are highly faked and well faked. My comment was going to be that without a creed picture, authentication wasn't possible, however after rereading her description, leidymarino states that it's a "high quality fake."

BTW, @Malice_sugar - After looking again at this listing, I see that you asked her about how she knew the bag was fake.

In case you're buying for resale, I want to make sure you know that the sale of fakes is illegal and you cannot resell it even if you admit it's fake.

My issue with Poshmark and some other sites is that they don't remove illegal listings.

That's why there shouldn't be so many requests in one post. I forgot about #1 that didn't have a creed picture by the time I got to the end. I didn't mean to imply it was authentic. It can't be authenticated without a creed picture. I hope I didn't mislead you.

No worries I'm with you 100%! Back in 2005 or so, when I worked at AT&T one of my coworkers was buying Coach fakes in bulk. I don't know if that was the year that the fakes really took off or what, but that slimy woman was selling those pieces of crap for $60-$80 a piece and they would fall apart in a month! That's what prompted me to educate myself, because prior I had no experience with high quality brands. My other coworkers and I were trying to be good friends and supportive of her little side hobby because we trusted and believed her. We'd worked together for almost five years! This forum was one of the places on the internet I found, and I also heavily researched the extent of how illegal it is and the consequences. I shared my research with the lady and honestly in retrospect , I believe she knew exactly what she was doing and it was pure financial rape towards her "friends." I was just absolutely blown away by it! Later I spent the money on an authentic Ashley bag from an outlet (I'm not rich by any measure) and the difference took my breath away. It made me incredibly angry at the people completely stealing from aloof buyers like I was. It is truly theft. I don't think people who have never experienced what I did, really understand that! I live in a low income area of Florida. Most of my friends think they will never be able to justify buying a Coach purse from an outlet in their lifetime lol! If I can treasure hunt and gift one, or let them buy it for what I snagged it for, keep it for myself, or confidently resell it and make $20-$30 (I'm not in the business of raping people's wallets) I'm good with all of that

The Sabrina bag in 1) I was honestly just totally curious about! I would never buy anything without pictures of the inside and creed. Poshmark will take the listing down and ban the user IF they find it. I think the problem is that they do not have a report button. *correction! They do!

And sorry about all the requests lol! I work night shift at a jail. Overnight while everyone is asleep I'm always working on little side projects during down time, and when my boyfriend is asleep and I'm stuck awake with nothing to do... That was everything I found over the course of probably a week. I'll keep it minimal in the future

I'm glad you weren't interested should it have been found to be fake.

OTOH, I have to STRONGLY disagree with your comment about PM taking the listing down. I've been reporting PM fakes (and there are many) for years and can say I have NEVER, EVER seen a fake removed. EVER!! Poshmark doesn't care about being an honest website and they don't care that their sellers lie to buyers. (They do have a "report" button.)

I can guarantee that this listing was reported and never removed. I posted to inform the seller and when she denied, I referred her to this TPF subforum. Instead of being honest, ontheverge22 ripped off a buyer for $100.

And I've made many similar posts, also on other listings for fakes that were never removed and sellers never banned.

I wouldn't ever do business with Poshmark or any other site that doesn't respond to reports of illegal items.

Holy crap! I've had such good treatment in every other aspect from Poshmark! I am still new to the site though. They state that they will respond and handle it. I've seen other members say PM will do it also. That's so disappointing!! :annoyed: (I did just find the report button )

That's gotta be one of the most hilarious looking fakes I've seen in a while [emoji38] I report on pm all the time and nothing ever gets taken down. And don't even comment because those sellers get so mad when you let their secret out! Hah!!!

Edit: the fake lining is even sewn in sideways and they still wanted to argue [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
