Please follow the following requests:

• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

I can't say with certainty that it is authentic. It looks like a Sheridan Wendell tote but the creed wording is wrong. It is possible that this is an early version.

Well, no luck really. There were a few Coach behind the counter, priced over what I've seen them for on EBay and Etsy, but not styles I liked. So I might as well stick to auctions so I can at get verification before I buy.

I can't say with certainty that it is authentic. It looks like a Sheridan Wendell tote but the creed wording is wrong. It is possible that this is an early version.

I don't know if it's a Wendell, it doesn't seem to have the smooth leather coming up the sides from the base, unless it's only supposed to do that on one side of the bag. The pictures aren't much help either. You're probably right about it being an early version though.

I don't think they get a defect, but if there is no communication between the buyer and seller they get an automatic 5 star rating for communication. I don't know if it matters if they communicate with someone who doesn't ultimately buy it. I can't imagine why a seller wouldn't respond, but I think that some sellers don't answer questions on the weekends.

Have to say, now that I know even a little of what to look for, it's shocking how many fakes there are on EBay. Was just looking for Court and Station bags and the first two I clicked on had the giant "o" in No. And another had mismatched metals. Maybe I need to give it a rest for a bit.

I don't see any problems but I don't think the pictures are a very accurate representation of the color. Love red is really more of a coral color. I don't know what the starburst imprint on the creed means.
