Thank you and be safe!

It's fine. It's missing the leather zipper pull. It's not a Madison. It's a Baxter.

I can't believe I still typed the wrong name after *just* doing research on those two, lol :blushing: But I'll take being wrong about the name over being wrong about it being authentic any day! Thank you and thanks for pointing out the AWOL zipper pull!

My mistake for not going into more detail. I also have a photo and note about a handful of genuine N codes from China in 2005 and 2006. Since the fake BIN- serial prefixes always are on Made in USA creeds and the genuine China ones are all using 2-number year codes I didn't bother to mention them
Sorry. I didn't mean to post the same thing twice. I thought I was posting on the "answers thread" and instead reposted here. (I've requested the posts be moved to where they should have gone.)

Item: Coach Red Willis
Listing number: 272259750066
Seller: bosky2
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Auth-Co...750066?hash=item3f63f218b2:g:17cAAOSw6btXTZHK

My brother's gf fell in love with my red Willis and is on the hunt. I was hoping to get this for her b-day. Thanks in advance.

It's authentic.
There was actually a discussion on the ebay fashion board about that listing.

Apparently the seller had gotten "testy" when a picture of the creed was requested so the buyer could have it authenticated.

I agree with the poster who commented that bosky2 sells enough Coach and has a long enough ebay history that she really should know that her listings need to include all the information to prove authenticity and to reassure buyers that they're getting what they're expecting.

I had only done a search in this thread, so I missed that discussion. I did see that someone interested in the bag also brought up the creed. Thanks to you and whateve for authenticating.

No problem. Unless you'd seen the post when it was first made, you wouldn't have known which listing it was because the ebay mod edited it and removed the link. (Long story but they don't allow links to listings for authentication.)

The reason I reposted here was to comment on how the seller, rather than being "testy" as described by the other poster should appreciate that her buyer is doing her homework.

It does look like a great bag in excellent condition.

Hi again,
I found two at a Goodwill outlet yesterday ( I can't believe what people give away)
The first is a Coach Metropolitan Briefcase US made M8T-5180:

thanks, yet again!
Please wait for other opinions on your bag. I'm not comfortable with some details but it's not my area of expertise.

But I'm wondering whether it's possible that Coach made a mistake and gave two different bags 5180 as the style number.
