Hello I'll appreciate if any of you good ladies would help me authenticate this bag and maybe tell me a little about it it does not have the coach creed or the patch that's what worries me thanks in advance View attachment 3374162View attachment 3374163View attachment 3374164View attachment 3374165View attachment 3374166View attachment 3374167View attachment 3374168

Please check the inside pockets for a small white tag with 2 rows of numbers and letters. Pull the lining out enough to get a good photo. We'll also need the measurements of the bag.

I'm sorry I can't find any other tag inside this is what it looks like on the inside the dimensions are : 8 in. Length 7 in. Height. 3.5 in. Depth 22 in. Strap drop View attachment 3374181View attachment 3374182View attachment 3374183View attachment 3374186

Wait for someone to identify it. IF it's genuine, it's a fairly recent (within maybe the last 2 to 4 years) remake of a vintage style

So far, it doesn't raise any red flags. If there's another tag, it is probably buried deep inside the zipper (interior) pocket.

It's a Legacy leather mini satchel #49292. It was made around 2012-2013, before they started putting the serial number tags inside the pockets. It doesn't have a creed because it is a small bag.

Just so you know, the serial number prefix alone is enough to prove it fake. The N plant code was ONLY used for Mexico and then only from 1998 to 2000 and there are no examples at all of it being used in 2001, IF that's supposed to be a number ONE between the B and the N. If it's actually supposed to be the letter "i" which is what it looks like, then it's completely invalid since the year codes in the prefix are always numbers, never letters. And every :BIN" code we've ever found used the exact same font and has always been fake.
I have a quick question, though not really an authenticity request because I know the bag is genuine.

This is interesting and I don't think it's ever come up before!

Although the bag referenced in the old post above was a definitely fake BIN or B1N bag, I'm wondering whether we've commented that there WAS an N plant in China in 2006.

The only bags I've found with this Chinese plant are style 10075 and all were made in very few months during the first 1/2 of 2006.

I will recopy to the " answers to AUTHENTICITY questions!!!" thread once this is confirmed as accurate.

ETA: I wasn't able to find the bag on the wayback machine but found this stock picture:

^^^ Interesting! I hadn't looked for other examples and don't know that it was ever discussed that there were exceptions to the N = Mexico "rule."

But then again, with its middle name being "inconsistency," it doesn't surprise me one bid that Coach has more exceptions to its rules!

I didn't find anything posted in the past but (like just about everything else Coach), there ARE exceptions to the N=Mexico plant "rule."

When I was poking around (looking for something else), the only bags I found with this Chinese plant were style 10075 and all were made in very few months during the first 1/2 of 2006. Whateve found additional exceptions including a bag that appears to be authentic but with an N US plant serial/text.

I couldn't find the style on the wayback machine but found a small stock picture as well as a larger and more definitive image better showing the bag.

Post to follow will show Whateve's further examples of NON-Mexico N creeds.

Comments:
1. I can't see the FB page because I suspect one must be a friend of the person or be part of a group.
2. I don't recommend Facebook as a source to buy bags (or other items) because there are tons of fakes there, no way to know whether sellers are actually posting their own pictures of actual items and it's too easy to be scammed.

If you want to buy a bag, find an online listing for the item and submit an authentication request per the posting requirements in post #1 of this thread:
http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-sh...oach-read-1st-page-before-posting-889527.html

ETA: If you find a bag on ebay, Bonanza, Tradesy or other site and have it authenticated, don't assume that because a listing is deemed authentic and looks the "same" as the one on Facebook that the FB one is authentic.
