This thread is for discussion of authenticity of Céline bags and accessories. Please follow these rules:

  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated.

  • Authenticators are not required to answer every request, and it is their right to ignore a request that is not in the proper format.

  • Authenticators may also request additional pictures and/or information in order to assist with authentication. Please remember, it is always useful to have several close up pictures when submitting an item for authentication.

  • Please do not intervene to confront a troll or rudeness on the boards, just report the post to the mods, and let them handle it from there.

We need to see all photos are required for authentication, and cannot authenticate on a partial set of photos or only certain details. I would ask the seller for more pictures.

Hello everyone,
I just bought this bag from a swiss auction seller. I went to the boutique with the seller, but the SA of Celine didnt really check it. I mean she just looked at it for 3 sec (only the outside) and said its real... So i still have doubts. It's my first Céline bag and I dont want it to be fake!
My doubts are: the corner of the bag has a bit glue on it, we can see it in one of the pictures.
there is a bit glue left on the inside zipper, I mean under the thingy that zips the bag.
Plus, on the serial tag which is S-ZP-1111 (the 1st "1" is half-erased, you can see it on the last pictures)

First of all thank you very much Dreamlet for your answer. I don't want to seem crazy but I still have some worries
Do I have to worry if (or it's normal that there are some "manufacturing marks" on the bag) :

1)there is a bit of glue left on the corner of the bag
2)the part where the shoulder strap is attached is a bit ripped off.
3)Some color is left on the shoulder attach
4)A bit of glue was left under the zipper thingy

I have seen bags, brand new, in stores, with glue or other sloppy workmanship apparent. Some of the other things you mention sound like they may be from use or wear and tear on the bag?

Ultimately you need to decide if you a comfortable with the bag, there is only so much we can tell from photos.
