Hi Terite, thank you so much. Mine doesn’t look like it has ever been stamped. I’m really sorry for bombarding you with all these questions. If you think it’s fine I trust your judgment. Thank you for everything.

The inside of mine is much more worn. I don't have any concerns at all about yours - just don't pay too much. It will be hard to resell because there is no inside stamp - could be an Asian issued item. You have to be aware of the really old stuff to know this pattern, so don't feel bad if you return it. Also front stamp is muddy - as is mine, but it is going to be tough to resell it. I always think of resale cause I am so fickle.

Thank you so much, you’ve really alleviated my worries. Now I can enjoy my new old bag peacefully. Thank you so much Terite, you are absolutely wonderful. I hope you have a lovely day.

Hiya, very new to this and am hoping for some help authenticating this trench I just bought. I suspect it's a replica, and it was £60, so not the end of the world if it is, but would like to know for sure. I'm just not sure burberry ever made dark brown coats like this, and i've never seen a burberry coat made in turkey, plus the cursive buttons are definitely not standard. I've attached pictured of the exterior and interior of the trench, as well as buttons and tags. It came with a wool lining as well, as seen in one of the images. Thank you so much!20230819_154905.jpg20230819_154842.jpg20230819_154832.jpg20230819_154859.jpg20230819_154848.jpg20230819_154959.jpg20230819_154939.jpg

Agree that the labels are wrong - the color is ok and there was a time when buttons had cursive, but the fabric on the lining is wrong and neck label and content label shown is also wrong.

thanks for such a quick response, and for confirming my concerns. I know its hard to tell from pictures, but do you think it'd be good enough quality to keep around? I have a young niece I could gift it to, but not sure if i should just keep it and act blissfully ignorant. Would I be embarrasing myself if I just kept it and wore it to work?
