Thanks! I'm just a bit confused, this was purchased straight from a Burberry boutique but has 6 rows if you count the bottom one (as did the one that was authenticated a couple of posts above). Where does one start counting? I'm genuinely curious to learn! Thank you! 20230824_193834.jpg

Would you happen to know age of trench? I could not find the same one online and I looked quite extensively! Thanks again!!
I think it used to be previous collection from 2 years ago. Because I have got the new pattern and font on my trench coat when I bought 2 years ago. And on Burberry websites and else it was still the previous pattern and then soon after getting my trench I saw the new and same font on the coats from Burberry and other websites.

Thanks so much for your reply. I’m a little confused because my inner tag has Burberry written in the older font with the equestrian picture. Isn’t that an older style?

I think it is older. Around from 2010. Because I know during a certain time around 2005~2014 they produced trench coats with black buttons before to move on something more traditional.

Just before I bought my coat it used to be this font and design (1st picture) that you could see everywhere. And I think by January 2022 they started the new collection with new font and it started to be shown on websites around April or May. I bought my trench beginning April 2022 (so yes 1 year ago not 2 years ago... sorry ) with this new font (2nd picture). That the one on my trench coat. But at first when purchasing the trench I was wondering if it was an official and true Burberry trench since I couldn't find much of pictures on internet with the new font. Until I could see websites uploading their contents with new pictures.

20220407_002613.jpgThat is the one trench I was talking about with black buttons. It used to be that one trench before around 2014 and the new Heritage college. I think this version must have a similar design and font as yours. But maybe somebody with better knowledge can answer and clarify this topic 5885896623_073744e3f0_o.jpg

Thanks so much! I understand what you mean now. I have always loved Burberry but haven’t owned much until I found this trench. The materials, workmanship and fit is outstanding and I feel truly special when I put it on!

I don't much about the model you got. It looking like more as a Mac than a trench but still it is a nice coat and I am glad you love it.

Indeed when trying Burberry we definitely feel the difference with other brands making trench coat or other kind of clothes. Burberry is by far the top brand for trench and Mac. And I feel special too when wearing mine especially since the coat goes well with so many different outfits :amuse:

Sorry didn't mean to confuse anyone - I just meant that the attention to detail on the collar is so nice - not about the number of rows.
