Authenticate This BOTTEGA VENETA

Hi is anyone able to authenticate this small loop bag? It doesn't have any authenticity tags that I can see muted I'm not sure if the unlined loops do. I know the mini cassette camera bag I have that I bought new didn't have one either. I bought it from Designer Exchange which is a preloved site that has stores in the uk and I think Spain the thing that concerns me most is that it came with the older light brown dust bag and old care booklet. I think the bag would be from 2022 as older loops were lined. I have an older style mini loop which is lined and came with a white dustbag and white booklet and my mini cassette camera bag came with the same whire dust bag and booklet The older dustbag and booklet doesn't make sense to me unless they mixed up the dustbag etc with an older bag or it's fake or is there another legitimate reason why it would come with an older d

The dust bag and care booklet have nothing to do with authenticity - as you’ll note from the first post in this thread, we don’t ask for those at all. Those are given at the whim of the brand. The brand embossed stamp and the bag look fine.

ETA: I do understand your concern - if you are able to return it and find one that sets your mind at ease, perhaps that is the best option - there are so few markers for authenticity now we can’t be 100% on some of the styles. As has been suggested in the past, you could feign ignorance and stop by a BV boutique and ask the color, as ‘you’ve forgotten’, but then you’d have to remove the tag…

Item Name: Bottega Veneta Hobo Intrecciato Bag (Large?)
Listing number: 10500105390TER
Comments: The certificate number matches. The bag has Lampo zipper, certificate tag with slight yellow lines on the side with the number, so I guess it may be of around 2000-2002. The size seems to be “Large”. I saw hobos like this one here, authentic vintage.

Thank you. I wasn't aware that they still gave out the old dust bags. I thought it mostly seemed OK compared to what I have but that seemed odd.

Since you purchased for a reseller, perhaps that is what they had on hand. New retail items from BV would, of course, not come with old dust bags and cards. BV has done their best to erase previous creative directors’ marks.
