I'm confident this is authentic (although the authenticity tag would be good to see just in case) but Seller is definitely asking over retail. The colour was definitely sought after, though, so maybe it is worth it if you REALLY want it... although as I posted in the other thread about the bag, I believe magnolia was quite finicky, even compared to other light colours.

Actually - this year's lotus is similar to magnolia, I think... Does the Montaigne come in lotus (I can't say I have seen or heard of any Montaignes in this season's pastel colours, but that doesn't mean they don't exist). But if they do, then that would mean you could get a lotus Montaigne in the boutiques now for the regular retail price - which makes this much less of a worthwhile route to go given how similar the two colours are.

Both bags look authentic. I don't know the first seller. The second seller is considered trustworthy and has been recommended on some lists I've seen.

I don't know which season--it's been around a few yrs at least. I think the Julie came out Fall 2006. When you say woven hobo, do you mean the classic Veneta? Julie is later than the woven tote and definitely newer than the Veneta.

I can count on the others here to make any needed corrections in what I've said! ;) There are people here with a LOT of BV knowledge.

I kinda doubt if that is authentic, Nymph. The tag makes me wonder and the dustbag is old, so this is not "new". The leather doesn't look like something BV would use--too grainy. But maybe someone will say they recall seeing this years ago. I've never seen BV do anything like this.
