Thanks Boxermom!!
Isn't it so cute?

I am not so sure of how to clean the leather or even possibly re-dying it..

I was curious about that too so I called up my local BV and asked them about it. The SA i spoke to said that apparently, they did offer the re-dying service at one time but have stopped doing that because they find that afterwards, the leather does not return to the same texture and feel as before. Also, the color sometimes does not come out as predicted. They also do not offer the cleaning service anymore.

Wow, just a couple months ago someone in a BV store told me they could send one of my bags to be cleaned. Maybe it doesn't happen often and he didn't know. They should be informed on services available, though. It makes sense that dying could change the texture of the leather.

Hmm... well perhaps it's a service they offer to more VIP clients? Also it may be because I mentioned that I was asking for a vintage bag. :sweatdrop: But if you ever take them up on the offer, please share on the forum how it goes!

Thank you for sharing the info :smile1:

Shame they no longer offer this service then :push:

in my opinion both sellers are questionable. I cannot comment on authenticity of those two (identical) bags but if you see the feedback of the auction in Euros the seller has negative for selling a fake. Another 'BV' she sold does not look right either (but since I have limited knowledge and I am still learning wait for other members to comment further).
The UK seller does not accept pay-pal. So if you go ahead you are not protected as a buyer. (not sure how effective e-bay protection is) . I have also looked at the items she sold and the two bags I can see do not look that good either.
I am sure that others will comment too.
Good luck!!!

Way to go, lawbabe. Same bag pics--2 different sellers?? lilika, you're right about at least one fake BV that the first seller sold (for a lot of euros). This is shady.

I love this color!

but can anyone help me w/ the authenticity of this wallet? I've never seen one like this @ BV...

I haven't seen the smooth zip around wallet either, but I've never seen a fake from this seller, and she sells a lot of BV's. If you're seriously interested, you could request a pic of the font imprinted in the leather. It's really small in a wallet and hard to see clearly; maybe why she didn't include that photo. Other than that, I see no red flags to warn you away. Very pretty color and deerskin is durable.

Thank you Ilika and boxermom :smile1:

The UK seller said the German one has stolen her pics and she has written to ebay but also stated: "what else can I do?"
I didn't even accuse her or anything, I just simply wrote to her saying the other seller has the same pics..:confused1:
Then she said, she will end the auction and end the auction for me if I send her my best offer..ERRR probabaly not, thanks
