The "links" point to your own computer, so that's probably why you're having the problem. The photos have to be UPloaded to the Purse Forum.

Wrinkling of the leather to a small degree is not unusual and will smooth out with time. As far as the leather 'shreds' you'd mentioned, I assumed you were talking about the tiny leather particles you might see on the edges of the leather (and these disappear with time and use).

In conclusion, all I can tell you is that this seller, from my own experience (and her excellent feedback) sells authentic items. I understand you've had a number of concerns; perhaps it is best for you not to buy on e-Bay but deal only with your Bottega Veneta store. :smile1:

Thanks for the response. The links from the computer was the last resort after UPloading failed several times.
It just doesn't seem to work for me and I really wish you could see the pictures.
This is the response I get every time I try to upload (I sent an email to tpF after clicking on the thread but haven't heard back).
Is there any other way to post pictures? Maybe I can email them to you?

Many thanks to grietjie, indiaink, and Ikweh for their previous inputs. My large veneta finally came. I am taking grietjie's advice and posting the bag here for authentication.
The bag seems fine overall to my untrained eyes, but I am concerned with the single line of authentication number (some of the ones I saw here have two rows of numbers). I am also not sure if it's normal for the stitching of the handle to be lopsided (please see the last two photos) and there are no logo stamped on the zipper hardware.

BV went to a new single row of numbers fairly recently, so this indicates it's a new bag.

You have to turn the head of the zipper a bit so you can see the back of it - you'll find the word 'riri' on the back.

Did you get a leather-backed matching mirror with the bag?

Yes, I found the engraving on the outside zipper, but not on the zipper for the inside pocket. Is that right?

Yes, I received a mirror in a paper envelop. It's leather back but not woven. Is that correct too?

The suede linking inside is more dark tan than beige, like some of the posts I have seen. Is that also a new change?

All look authentic to me (yes, the mirror has leather back, not woven. Inside lining is darker for the new bags). Congrats. Gorgeous.
