I'm not sure how favorably BV would look on that. The SAs are typically quite nice but I admit that I wouldn't do it. As India and Ikweh have written, you should feel comfortable about authenticity from Blue Fly. But if you're not, I'd just as soon return it and pay full price. For $500, it just might be worth the peace of mind.

I purchased the same bag on BF this past Saturday. They must have had 2 in stock. I'm curious to see what it looks like in person. Please post pics when it arrives. I plan on doing the same and am crossing my fingers that it's authentic.

Can't do a thing with it here without that all-important photo of the authenticity label. I'm expecting that it will be one of the vintage yellow and blue labels, perhaps...
I don't know, this just doesn't seem right to me. Even though I don't have first-hand vintage experience, there are a few things about the bag in this listing that don't seem to add up (for what it's worth).
Probably won't receive a response. After blueiris chimed in, it just confirmed the oddness of the bag. We could all be surprised, though. I don't think I'd like the bag if it was authentic, it just looks too odd.

The care card that should have come with this bag would have said:
The material used for this product is the result of a long manufacturing process which combines a layer of canvas with one of PVC. It is a technical material extremely resistant to wear and tear but sensitive to heat and cold with a tendency to soften or stiffen respectively. Wash with neutral soap and water. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
Of course, a pic of the white authenticity would be needed to authenticate; however, I would lean towards authentic. The bag should have a black cotton lining. This material was used in the small travel beauty bags, medium totes, large totes, and a shoulder bag (the last 3 with outside pockets). I've owned several of the styles in black, but I've seen some of the styles in cream, also.
I am surprised by the condition, tho!
