Hi - Per my Post #12 and your response #14 - the seller has informed me she has been selling designer bags for 10 years, is very busy and may not be able to put the pics of what I requested as per your response to my authentication request. Although you say you feel it is authentic, but would like to see those items, as a newbie to this site, I am in a quandry as to whether to pursue this bag, and need to know if the authentication still stands without the pics that you requested. Thanks for any and all help.

doreenjoy, I am going to bid until a certain price. After that point, if it doesn't make sense, I am going after the bag of my dreams, the nero large Veneta! (Like you said, putting aside a little bit each week) Thanks!

Seller did add clear photos of the font and tag. I appreciate that she did this so we see everything possible. From everything I see, it's authentic vintage BV and a beautiful color combination.

Thanks for the answer per post #35. Now I guess I should research what prices I should be paying for this bag and others. Any thoughts on what a bag such as this one should go for? Once again, thanks for all your help for this "newbie".

I'm not sure where seller gets the $1400 retail number from. I'd be very surprised if this bag sold for that much several years ago. Vintage BV prices mostly depend on how much you want it. I've seen bags in good condition go for less than $100 and up to $500 or more. There are no bids now but that doesn't mean there aren't people watching it and waiting till the last minute to bid. When I bid on vintage (actually most items) I decide what I'm willing to pay and don't go over that, even if it means I lose it to someone else. One time there was a bag(not a BV) I wanted no matter what, and I overpaid for it, but I HAD to have it! That's rare for me.

if you are truly interested in these wallets, please ask the seller for more pictures as requested in this thread. if you do this before asking for authentication, it helps save time.

personally i would pass though. there is something i don't like based on the few pix here. if these are genuine BV, then they are also made for the outlets and the seller has them priced at about what the outlets would retail for from my memory of reading the BV thread.

ITA with doloresmia. I'm very unsure about all these wallets and personally wouldn't take a chance on them.
