The link at eBay is broken right now, but I looked at this when you poste in the other thread.

Your bag is authentic. It's vintage and at the time this bag was made BV didn't use authenticity tags. All the details are correct. Congratulations!

The older vintage BV bags didn't have special names. It would simply be described. Your bag could be described as a gathered shoulder bag. Today it's easier because we know what a Veneta is (hobo), Cabat (market tote), Montaigne (satchel).

Ladies, I believe another member had asked about whether this bag was authentic, and someone said it looked a little dodgy. As it was one of the last posts in the old thread, am not sure if this was ever confirmed.

Please could any of you ladies provide an opinion? Much appreciated!

This link goes to a clutch that has been authenticated. I went back to the older request, and I expressed reservations about that bag.. No one else has commented. So that's where it stands. This is why we prefer to have the item # included in the request; if the link doesn't work, we can still look it up.

I think for the next couple of weeks, people will be very busy with holidays, kids home from school, travel, etc., and requests may not get as full attention as we'd like.
