I received the bag today and love it .... only issue I have is that the strap is way to long for me, even when worn as a cross body. Did you run into the same thing, and if so, what did you do? I've thought about creating another hole for the buckle to fit through... your thoughts?

Yes, the exact issue that you mentioned has bothered me, seniorbaglady (which I am too)! I also think there should be one of those wrap-around leather strips to keep the end of the strap from *flying out*. I want to punch another hole but haven't done it yet. I've worn it as is on the shortest length crossbody but I'm only 5'5".

I do love the vintage look of the style and that it's a nice looking crossbody. I'm not fond of the messenger bag style on myself, so this style will be good; Need to get that leather punch out, though.

I'll probably go with another hole in the strap, but have the same concern about the end of the strap curling. I'll have to come up with some solution that keeps the end in place but is so subtle it's not even noticeable.

Thanks, boxermom. I have requested those photos from the seller; we will see how soon he is forthcoming with them! I passed up an orange Bottega Veneta bag a few months ago-I was only getting my feet wet, buying my first designer bag at the time-and I wasn't ready for a second one yet. I have now gotten used to owning my black leather Prada bag, though, and an orange Bottega Veneta has started to sound good again!!!
