Welcome to the Purse Forum and the BV subforum!

I've never examined BV sunglasses, so I hope any members here who have a pair will comment. Everything looks ok, but I'd like to know from someone who owns a pair if the font on the temple piece is as shown in the photo, which is different from the usual font that is on the case, bag, and polishing cloth. Maybe it's too difficult to get the usual font on that thin curved area??? So basically, I don't know enough to determine authenticity and will wait for others who know more.

I hope we can get more comments on BV sunglasses for you.

Thanks, I've looked around locally for a pair to see how they look when worn & have a look to compare the details, however there are no stockists of BV here in Australia unfortunately.

The first wallet is authentic and appears to be a made-for-outlet wallet. The quality is still BV but they are made to go directly to BV outlet stores and sell for lower prices. Seller is reliable but is making a hefty profit on this wallet.

The second wallet--we can't determine authenticity without at least 2 additional photos. We need clear photos of the font (the name imprint) and both sides of the authenticity tag that is in the wallet.
Wow you learn something new every day - I didn't know there were such things as BV made-for-outlet items! So it's like those MBMJ items that you can get for a few dollars at his boutiques? Would you recommend the purchase - is the quality still "up there" to justify the seller's asking price? :smile1:

I shall request those additional photos for the second wallet.

Thanks so much!

The quality is great, but some details are a bit skimpier than the boutique wallets. For example the zip wallets have nylon zippers rather than metal. For this wallet, I don't know what the slight differences are. BV craftspeople made the wallet. The seller probably paid $89-99 for the wallet and is doubling the selling price. It's just my opinion, but I think that's an extreme profit. It's always a personal choice if you like the wallet enough.

Welcome to the Purse Forum and the BV subforum!!

The photos aren't very good, so it's hard to examine the leather and I wish the seller had a photo of the interior. I think the pouch has an authenticity tag--a photo of that (both sides) is important.

I don't see any red flags, but not being a Cabat-owner, I'd like to have others comment on this bag.

We don't know what the reserve price is, so seller may expect the bidding to go way higher than $2000, which it is right now.

More opinions, please!!!!!!!
Many thanks BoxerMom! I decided to pass - I must say you are all wonderful - what a great service!

This is the same size (17" in diameter) that I have. My interior plate, which is copper colored has a number on it. Here is a picture...albeit blurry. You can see, but not read the third line, which says 120/200.

Well, jburgh - another subtle reveal!!!... but as you notice the color of your metal plate is different, and it does have a number, which makes me a little nervous about the one for sale... without looking at it irl, then, I cannot tell and I would not bite. Thanks, j!

Ahh good to know, thanks for the advice, much appreciated!

Thanks alot for the quick reply! I didn't get it though. Someone outbid me in the last minute=(

Darn! I hate when that happens. I think I forgot to welcome you to the Purse Forum and the BV section. Post with any other BV bags you are considering. Thanks for using our format. If you hadn't, I wouldn't have found the bag because eBay had a faulty link (as they often do).
