Authentic... do not have this color code, but suspect that it might be a red from the past couple of seasons... anyone know?

Authentic vintage... maybe early to mid 80's. In this case I would ask about condition... wear, tears, color darkening or wear-off, stains, and any odors.

It looks genuine to me, but the color code puzzles me. In the catalog, this is shown in Fever, but this isn't the code for Fever. Hopefully someone else can tell us what the color is.

Pourpre is a different code than this and is a darker red.

The color in the pic looks like fever to me, too, but the number is not for fever - I do not even have this one...

Sorry that we missed this one, but it is problematic... when I glance, I am usually in a hurry, and if I cannot tell easily then I pass. That said, I cannot sign off on this one, because there are not the pics available with which to adequately tell if this is authentic. You might want to familiarize yourself with what pics are needed: in this case, clear, close-up pics of the front and back of the authenticity tag located in the seam of the zipper pocket, the zipper pull, and the back of the zipper slide.

If you look for these pics in the more current bags - as this one is then you will be able to provide us with the tools necessary to make a call for you. For the older, vintage bags, pics of the zipper pulls, the metal tag and the lining... always clear and close-up.

I'll be looking for your follow-up post.
