Thanks Jburg, ReRe bag also has the numbering. sngk thinks I would not get a lot of mileage out from this bag, I tend to agree with her. Too many uncertainties, I think I will give this a miss and be a good girl and wait for my knot :p

Authentic! Love this bag. Welcome to the Purse Forum and the BV subforum; thanks so much for using our standard format. We need an item number when the item is from eBay (because their links are so often faulty), but I can understand that it's confusing.

I've never examined BV sunglasses, so I hope any members here who have a pair will comment. Everything looks ok, but I'd like to know from someone who owns a pair if the font on the temple piece is as shown in the photo, which is different from the usual font that is on the case, bag, and polishing cloth. Maybe it's too difficult to get the usual font on that thin curved area??? So basically, I don't know enough to determine authenticity and will wait for others who know more.

Ok so i've been browsing a little more trying to find out about the text on the arm of BV sunglasses and have found the following:

All images of the BV52/S seem to be from the same source without a clear shot of the arms (or same images as those i had in my first post). This site is the only other pic i can find where you can JUST see some text written on the temple area (however the site claims it as a 2010 style which im pretty sure its not), site doesn't look very legit either (to me).

However some models don't seem to have any text other than the logo on the ends of the arm, as per this site

And finally on Net-A-Porter this model does show text similar to the ones shown in my original post, on image 2, 3 & 5

So i'm guessing some styles do have text (albeit in a different font to what is used on the cloth, bag etc) whilst some don't have any apart from their logo?

Sorry for seeming so pedantic about it, but I don't want to end up paying $$$ for a fake pair, especially because the lens may not have any UV protection at thus all putting my eyes at more risk than going without sunnies.

Booker, you're right about the season/year. I recall that BV fans were hoping Limo would become a classic color, we all loved it so much. Alas, we didn't get our wish. I have a fabric cosmetic case in Limo that I love.
