Please, help me to authenticate this scarf. The texture of the silk is quite different from the other scarfs I have. I'm wondering if this scarf is authentic or not.

Sorry ... all the photos are showing up on my computer and I don't know what was wrong with them. Anyway, I have re-uploaded the photo to the photobucket this time and thank you very much for your kindly.

The tag and the texture look off. Is the first picture of the skull just above "alexander mcqueen" on the scarf? If not, please post that picture for me.

Hello Vicky,
I looked at my scarves and compared to yours. I think you have an older scarf with an older tag. Does the 2nd tag have washing instructions on the back? Looking at the all the tell tell signs I know, I think this is authentic. I only have one older scarf and the tag looks like yours. The skull is correct and the ends hand sewn. When I got my first scarf it was a huge debate on the thread as the tags had just changed.
Another test you can do yourself, that I learned from lollipuff. Hold the scarf up to the light, the "Alexander mcqueen" written on the scarf should stand out and the skulls disappear a bit.
I think it is authentic. Do the light test and let me know.

Yes, mine has the washing instructions at the bag of the inner tag.

could someone tell me if this scarf is fake? I've never seen this design anywhere. sorry for the screenshots but it's on sale on the Depop app. Also, I'm on mobile and it seems like I can't upload more than one picture at the same time, so I hope the tag and logo are enough to tell!
