Thanks kiss_p ~ I snagged BOTH Ramonas!!! :choochoo: :yahoo:

Bloomingdales, San Francisco, CA has some Jimmy Choo handbags on sale for 50% off. They have two Ramonas, one in eel and the other in drummed leather (mink). I spoke with Eric - (415) 856 - 5300. He also, mentioned that they had about 25 -30 bags on sale, but I don't know all the styles. I only asked about Ramonas. The Jimmy Choo dept is considered a "leased" dept, so it is not eligible for the additional 15% off.

I'll be sure to post photos!!! BTW, when I called, Eric was a bit surprised and caught off guard as I specifically asked about these two bags...he asked if I called previously, as he couldn't understand how I knew about them! :p I told him I found your post on tPF in the JC forum and it sort of blew him away!!! :D

It was mostly Mia who helped me, as Eric was on his way out for the evening. She sent me multiple photos which sealed the deal!!!

Thank again kiss_p ~ they are coming to a great home where they will be loved and appreciated!!! :flowers:

Congrats! I couldn't afford them right now, so I'm glad that they'll be going to a good home.

purseinsanity, I have some photos of the damaged portion of the brown eel Ramona, which arrived this way. They are two broken slices in the eel, which makes me think these are accidental box-cutter wounds.

The only photo that shows both wounds together

^Ooohhh...what color's the eel Ramona?? Post pics!

Turquoise Mahala available in Designer Handbags at Neiman Marcus in Natick, MA: 866.773.6176

This bag is a return, so I can't speak about its condition.

Original price $1895. Sale price $852.

Just by looking at those battle wounds dsrk, I feel your pain. I woudn't able to find myself paying that much money for it. It's even more painful to see them on a Choo. :crybaby:

Hi purseinsanity, the eel is brown. I can post the pics that Mia sent me, and then post my own once she arrvives and I take my own. It takes me a bit to download/upload photos, so it is coming but may take me a bit, OK?

OMG! I'm so sorry. WTH is that?? You're going to return it I hope! That's so sad. Nothing worse than looking forward to a bag and getting screwed. Do you want us to look out for another?

^^^ purseinsanity, thanks for asking, but no, I'm not looking for a replacement. Yes, I'm definitely returning it. The sad thing is this: the JC Boutique from where I purchased this is in a hurry to get it back, as they already have another customer waiting for it! :wtf: They shipped me a return shipper label which I will receive on Wednesday (they shipped it to me via 2-day delivery); they asked me if I would please ship this back (along with the Mink Drummed Ramona, which I am also returning, as I am not thrilled with a dark section on its front) on the same day (being returned via 2-day as well), which I will, as I am anxious to get my full refund...BUT, they informed me that they are in a hurry because they are going to ship both bags to their new owner (also 2-day, so s/he will have these by Friday of this week). I find this disturbing, as the brown eel is originally priced at $3500, and on sale for half-price at $1750. The bag is clearly damaged and I can't imagine it can be repaired when it's sliced like this. :confused1: Any thoughts?

Thanks for your kind sentiments Jenchi! I just want a full refund; although, I am quite unhappy to know that another customer is literally waiting to buy it. I can't do anything about it, and I can only hope the new buyer reads our tPF Choo forum and sees my photos ~ to get a heads-up, if you will ~ to make an informed purchasing decision.

I wonder if the other buyer knows what issues the bags have? Hopefully, the store's being honest with them. They shouldn't be selling damaged goods like that.
