I still buy "safe" black bags. I have Chanel Classic Flap in black. It is timeless.

This is my 10th post. Yeah!!!!! I am now an official member. I meant to add that I am impressed that you now get colored bags. Why not? I have considered a very sparkly clutch myself. I haven't decided which brand.

Well, I just turned the bif 4-0 last January, and I have always been an avid fan of higher end bags. My first job was in a high end retail store, so I got bitten by the bug early on. I started w/ Coach and Dooney, then moved up to Fendi, and Gucci. I don't limit myself though......if I see a cute bag, I buy it!! I don't necessarily look at the label first.

^^^^Oh yes, at one time I had them all...anything that had a label or monogram I owned. In the 80's that was the trend in a major way.

I'm over 50 and I still like indie designers and think Hermes and Chanel are too old for me.

In my early 20's I bought my first Hermes bag... I am well over 40 now,

still have it wear it & enjoy it..

The quality & style speaks for itself...never looked back thinking I should or

still be buying anything less than what I think is the best for me..
