They do seem to be the same style of bag made in 2 different leathers. I cant say for sure if they are exactly the same or even if the size is the same.

Fantastic looking bag! Unfortunately I really doubt if it can be cleaned. That type of leather in light colors is very easily stained.

Wow, thank you for the picture. From the front she looks great - it is just the back. My 13yo wants her - eek... I don't think so... I can't seem to find another like her by googling - was it not very popular?

You may not be aware that Tano's production is very small. Often times they will only cut a dozen of a style in a particular color, then they drop that sku from their line forever. So finding a particular bag from 4 years ago isn't generally an easy thing to do. Other than google-ing the style # and name and checking ebay with your fingers crossed, theres not much else you can do.

You are right - I was totally unaware that so few are made. Is there any way to know what this style retailed for? Between myself and my 13yo I know she will continue to get years of good use.
Thanks again for the link - it was nice to see her all new and spiffy.

i have been all over the red threads here and i still have a random question: is "sour cherry" and "cherry" the same color?

also, does lava have brown or black trim?

Hey TE - Don't know why, but I am jonesing for something fuschia. They were showing a bag like the favorite bookend (but called something else) in fuschia on the official website for a while, but apparently it didn't make it. In perusing the 2010 website (unofficial version) fuschia was still being shown (on bags like the head shot and the little tchoske or however it is spelled). Did you see any?

Tano IS making lux leather bags in fuschia for Fall, but its not what I would call fuschia... its actually more of a dark berry color, similar to the beaujolais of the past. Im sorry but Im not sure which bag you saw on tano's "unofficial" (aka hacked access) website...as you all know, thats constantly in flux as they add/cut styles and colors, etc.

I can only answer questions about Tano bags in general- styles, colors, materials, etc.

All I can suggest is do a google search to find one online, or contact Tano to see if any retailers in your area received that bag in that color and try them.

Or you could post a new thread in the tano sf and maybe one of the other ladies will pitch in.
