Hi Tano Expert,

I've never posted and am new to forum (hopefully I'm doing this correctly by hitting reply on this thread...) I'm wondering if you remember the color of the lining of the espresso Dangerous Indeed bag? I am thinking of purchasing my first Tano, but wanted to make sure the bag I'm buying is truly a Tano, and not some knock-off. Does espresso with navy lining sound correct? Thanks!

green jewel, I think it was orange lining in the espresso color, but I really cant guarantee that... thats just what pops into my mind.

Tano isnt expensive enough to merit counterfeiting, so I wouldnt worry about the bag being a knock off. If it has a TANO tag inside, its a Tano bag. Ive never seen/heard of fake Tano bags... I really dont think that should be a concern.

niarocks, the boogie has always been made in all the colors, so I would say yes. Howver, the fuschia color is not what Id call fuschia. It looks like an older color called "beaujolais". If you want pink, this is not it.

I've never had a Tano, but I've been eyeing them online for a few weeks now, and am really thinking of getting the Mona Lethal. Today I went to a couple of stores to handle the leather on the Mona and see how it felt, and I was actually really disappointed. I'd been expecting a soft, rich, supple leather, but it felt thin, stiff, brittle, and kind of plastic-y. Honestly it felt a little cheap, which doesn't make sense with the price tag. I handled a couple of other Tanos which had thicker, softer, muuuuch nicer leather. Why isn't the Mona Lethal made out of that? :sad: Does the leather get softer and more pliant over time? With conditioning? I love the look of the bag, but hate the stiff vinyl feeling... can I change it?

Hi Zaia

The Mona Lethal is made of LUX leather, which is by far Tano's most popular leather (and has been for the past 4 years.) With use, the lux leather gets softer, and the color and shine fade a bit... the leather develops a cool vintage, distressed appearance. When its new, its a little stiff and shiny- but thats a temporary condition.

Tano makes lots of different leathers. If you dont like the LUX leather, check out one of the other types of leather. The Mona Lethal was made in plush leather last season- it was called Spring Eternal. A similar bag will be made for Fall in the new Tumbleweed leather- it will be called Down the Street.

hi... are voguette and nonstop natalia the same bag?

strangely i found nonstop natalia on the tano site last night (style 4646) but now its not there!

i found one at a store in black but cant seem to find it (nonstop natalia) in other colors anywhere.

thanks!
