Voo, for pre-spring all Tano showed was lux. They offered 3 new materials for Fall 2 (enzo, chamois and tumbleweed) in addiiton to lux, chopper and nebula. Of the 3 new materials they showed the chamois was buttery and squishy and delicious and the tumbleweek was rough and edgy. Enzo was really nice too but not outrageous in character one way or the other, KWIM?

Nebula is the powdery finished metallic nappa and chopper is the thin, drapey garment nappa.

Chopper sounds wonderful. Has Tano ever given any thought to garments, such as a soft leather jacket made of chopper leather?

With all the new, beautiful stuff coming out, do you have any idea if there will be any "smaller" bags, a la size of the Immeasurable?

Thank you! It feels really soft so I wasn't sure if it was some short nap suede or regular leather. There are some small dirt marks I want to get out, so I usually use Apple care which moisturizes and lightly cleans. I will try that later and post results. I have used that on vegetable tanned leather before, so I am optimistic.

PS: I used apple with no problems. The leather is moisturized and looks a little cleaner. I also sprayed some apple rain and stain guarde because I realized that there is suede in the grommets on the handle and I want to try to keep that clean. Thanks TE!

Hi T.E.

I just got a Tano Crash Course in Ox Blood - and was a bit surprised that the leather feels so different. It's not the Italian Crunch, like most of my others, and it's not velvet. What leather did they use for this? Is there a convenient place for me to find this information online?? Thanks for your time and especially for your expertise. Youre the best!

It is not crunch leather... its POTION. I think Tano made it mostly for NM.
