TE, some of us were wondering on another thread what has happened to the emerald velvet leather LRC? Are they having some problems with it? Any new info on when it will arrive?

fafnir, there are always a few straggling items every season that wind up getting really late and then- often- just cancelled by Tano. I cant say for sure, but whatever Fall 1 bags havent hit stores yet (ie self service in most colors, green LRC and BB, etc...) are likely to get axed in coming weeks. Tano is now starting to ship Fall 2 bags and will then start up with Spring production!

Hey TE - What's the difference between Kiddie Pool and Best Dressed? I thought it was the dimensions but I can't find consistent sizing for either bag so I have no idea if one is just bigger or if it's a E/W vs. N/S comparison.

TE, I have question about future designs, and I am not getting any answers from MHB or Tano. Do you know if the Tit for Tat is going to be produced? LB says no, but it is still on MHB. My other lemming is Dancing with a Star. Any news of this one?

if you have a question for MHB please email them directly and I'm sure they will reply promptly. If they dont, please resend- once in a while emails do get lost/junk mailed/deleted, etc.

Dancing with a Star is a SPRING 09 bag that wont be hitting stores until JANUARY.

Tit for Tat is a HOLIDAY 08 bag that will be hitting stores in NOVEMBER.

At the moment, both of those styles are CTO's (CUT TO ORDER BAGS) meaning Tano is just making enough to fulfill orders that they booked for the bag at their first seasonal trade show. The retailers that ordered them at that time will get what they ordered, but Tano wont be making any more for other retailers to purchase after that.

Hi TE,

Do you know if Tano will ever try using velvet leather for the Boogie Bucket or would it just not work? Does the velvet leather distress the same as the crash leather?

I do treat my Grape boogie bucket, and I just love how slouchy it has become...

SO far , velvet isnt in the lineup for spring at all, so a velvet boogie seems far fetched. I cant say yet how the velvet wears since its so new and I dont own one myself. Perhaps you could ask some of the girls here in a new thread?
