Do you happen to know which bags will be featured in the new white color for spring?
Check out the sneak peak link to Spring '09 thread, and you will see which bags (MIGHT) be offered in the white color. (I say might because thats all up in the air... with Tano, nothing is ever "FINAL" until its on the store shelves.) I really shouldn't be posting pics of the spring bags here before Tano publishes them on their website. Sorry!

How's the leather on Tano bags? I'm thinking about red crunch leather on the Sexbomb. I've heard that crunch leather is sort of thin, which some people like, but not me really. Could you compare it to other brands so I could have a frame of reference? And if I decide crunch leather is not for me, can I order in a thicker type, like the velvet?

Tano leathers are lightweight- thats half of their appeal. The crunch leather is by far their most popular material. Its sort of semi structured and it has nice shine and varied tonality. With wear they become softer, less shiny, and the top color fades a bit, revealing more of the lighter base color.
If you try crunch and dont like the weight of it, give velvet a try. Its a bit thicker and not as shiny. Of course this sort of exchange would be subject to your retailer's store policies and what they have in stock.

Brimack, Ive never used tarraco cream on TAG but I dont see any reason why it would be a problem. Test it on the leather hang tags first, or on the inside pocket, and wait for 24 hours before you do the whole bag.

I bought the rapunzel on ebay. It is a dark blue (maybe blueprint??). Can you let me know what color that would be? I also need to get some tarrago cream to do a bit of restoring, would that work on the leather? It looks like crunch to me. Thanks.

Hi Te, I have been scoping the Tribal Master for a few days now and even went to Bag in Soho to get a feel of it and see the Sable color up front.
Anyway, I was about to buy one online when I realized how dark Sable is, very different from the one I found in store. I quick call to the store told me that the bag I liked was not Sable but Amber. I have been looking for it online but couldn't find anything. Is there really an Amber color for Tribal Master or is it just sold out that's why I couldn't find anything? Appreciate your help

Mink is the dark (chocolate) brown, sable is the light (cognac) brown. Amber is a burnt orange color. Emerald and sapphire, ruby, amethyst, and onyx(black)... that's the entire velvet palette. If you were looking at the amber it would have been orange, like a pumpkin pie. The sable is a similar hue, but its not as orange-y.
Its possible that you saw a tribal master in amber. I know it comes in sable, ruby, onyx, sapphire and emerald.

I do have another question for you. I went to a local store and got a Lip Sync at a sale price. At the time I got it, I didn't know that it was supposed to have a detachable handle drop, it didn't come with any. I don't know if I can still return it because I have already used it. And the Apricot is too pretty for me to return, knowing that I can't get it anywhere else in the web. Is there any solution to this? Does Tano sell those handle drops anywhere? Thanks for your help

jenigirl, tano doesnt sell/stock extra shoulder straps for all of their bags. (They have about 100 new styles per season so that would be a logistical nightmare!) I would ask your store for the strap that was supposed to come with it, though. Maybe they have it somewhere in their stock room. If is was sold "as is final sale" without a strap you might be out of luck, though. But I guess since you bought the bag liking it without a second strap, you can live without it. Apricot is one of my favorite tano colors ever- enjoy the bag. Good luck!

TE, could you tell me if the boogie or french nanny will ever be available with gold hardware? It seems that most people prefer silver, but gold/brass is still my favorite!
