TE-I was eyeballing that London Diary on MHB. PLEASE tell me the brown trim is darker than the current light brown trim on the avocado and mandarin bags! I don't think the lighter brown on either avocado or mandarin does those beautiful colors any justice-it makes them look a little washed out IMO. My lawn green FN has the dark brown and it looks SO much better-- I am hoping the London Diary is dark (it does look like it in the picture)! Thanks!

^^^I do work for Tano occasionally (I help out with their NYC trade shows, show the line to Barneys & Bergdorfs, do in-store seminars for Bergdorf's employees and represent Tano at in-circle days at Bergdorf's.)

I dont have any input into their product development, though, other than offering suggestions to the designer based upon feedback that I get through my store and through what I read here in the Tano SF!

TE, please help! What did I see today???

I went to a Barney's outlet and amongst the Tano's was a Blue Boogie with Brown Trim! :faint: It's my HG! And it was so hard to pass by. :crybaby:
But it was labeled as "Blueberry" and I thought Blueberry was a Fall '08 color which only comes with black trim??? It also wasn't as dark as the Blueberry bags I've seen in person. It had a regular, non-Barney Tano label.
Did I see a mislabeled Blueprint Boogie? I will throw myself from my balcony if I passed one up! It was marked as $458 marked down to $229 which was still pretty steep for me but if it was Blueprint.....:wtf:

^^^ As we all know, boogies do not sell for $458! $229 is an acceptable price, though.

It may just have been a blueprint blue with brown trim left over from last year which someone mis- marked.

Its also possible that Tano made the boogie in blueberry with brown trim for barneys. Tano often makes special bags for barneys, anthro and bergdorfs.

It's not appropriate for me to make negative remarks about other websites (conflict of interest.)

All I can say is: please call first to make sure that they do actually have the item in stock before you place your order. Ask what the shipping fees are with insurance and what the refund (not "exchange" or "return") policy if the bag arrives imperfect, or if you just don't like it.

Good luck!
