I'm sorry this happened to your bag! It's been an ongoing issue with the Artsy. But from what I've heard, LV has fixed the issue and any bags that were produced at the end of 2015 to present are safe now, so you shouldn't have anything to worry about. I'm glad they exchanged it for you. Enjoy your beautiful new bag.

My Artsy arrived today... and she is flawless! I looked over her and no signs of peeling. The canvas also appears less shiny and more matte. So I'm pretty confident that LV has fixed the issue. I'll post a reveal photo in the Artsy club house later on today.

Aww thanks so much Linene! I'll definitely post back and give an update after I've been using my bag for a bit. I'm really hoping there won't be any issues, I'm pretty confident that they've fixed it for good. I know how much you love the Artsy - are you thinking about giving it another chance?

I have the Artsy in Empreinte, but there is just something about the canvas version that gets me... So yes, I am really thinking about giving it another chance :smile1:

I totally get you. Empreinte is beautiful, but I do think Artsy is prettiest in mono. I have to say that the canvas does feel quite a bit different - not as rubbery, very supple and also doesn't have that plasticky/shiny coating like it did before. So I'm pretty confident that the issue has been resolved. I watched a video on YouTube of a girl who has had her Artsy for 6 months now and she hasn't had any peeling whatsoever. So I think you'll be good should you decided to give it another go!

omg mine did the EXACT same thing after only a month of using it! and you can still see it! its like the outer layer coating coming off the vinyl :( Im surprised they took yours back and gave you a new one! I never tried because I figured they would say its my fault anyway or some lame excuse!
