Hello LV fans! I am new to all of this posting so please forgive me if i'm not in the right place. I am thinking of buying a Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM bag but not too sure if it is authentic.? The code on it reads SP1100 and made in France? Could someone tell me if the code would be right for that bag? The leather on it is very buttery soft and from all of the other authentic bags i saw online, it is spot on. Could someone please help?

So does anyone know if this has been corrected by LV? My store manage did replace mine 3 times but wanted to send pics this time. I am waiting. Hopefully here today. She said I was the only ine from her store with this issue. She was very nice but still made me feel that it was my fault. I even asked me gf to look at her artsy over the weekend. And sure enough she is the same thing happening. She didn't even notice. I think a lot of people just aren't noticing. LV stire manage told me that all my returns so far have just Ben shredded. So the issue was not even brought to anyone's attention. That is why I had her send pics instead of returning. They need to fix this issue. And I agree the purses she be pulled from the shelves. That's why it frustrates me that the manage ascot like it's just me. Either eay its a defective ourse and shouldn't be sold. I want this ourse though. This he been going on for awhile so anyone know of it's been corrected.

Same here my SA said she has never seen this before and it happens to my delightful original and replacement! Just went back in today and she credited me and I got a whole different bag instead bc I don't want to keep dealing with this issue! Good luck!

Has anyone had the peeling canvas problems with the Sully? Mine was made 2015 in Spain, same thick, rubbery glaze/coating as the Artsy and has just started peeling. Haven't heard of this happening with the Sully, and when I called LV, they said the same thing. Obviously, it can happen, it's happening to mine...but want to see if others are noticing it, too. My thought is that it is a problem with the Sully, but so many fewer people own the Sully, so it hasn't become an "issue"?

Sorry to hear about that. This is the first case of the Sully that I've heard of. It seems to happen mostly to the Artsy, Delightful, and Totally. Essentially, bags that have the "new" canvas are prone to this issue.

You should bring your bag back to the store and see if you can get a store credit. I would not opt for a replacement until they have corrected the problem. I'm sure they will take care of you.

Sorry about your troubles. I was just thinking about getting the Sully. Oh goodness!!

Sorry you're dealing with this! Where is the peeling occurring? Just bought my Sully in February (made in 2015) and was wondering if this bag had the new canvas.

Glaze is peeling/bubbling along top near the zipper, as well as on the bottom in the corners of the "folds". I have to look at it in sunlight to really see it, but it's is there, and I feel it's only a matter of time before the gaze peels off. At first, it looks like flaky white "dust". Hope this helps, please let me know if you see anything on your purse, as I am curious to the occurrence of this flaw in the new Sully. Mine was 2015, bought in late March.

This is true! LV started using the new canvas mid 2014. It's "squishier" and more pliable--meant to keep it from cracking like it did on the Artsys and Delightfuls in certain areas. A member was told by her SA that LV is using or plans to use the new canvas on everything! :( I was planning on buying a new Delightful but not yet. I'm going to see what happens. What's annoying is that LV is telling the SA's to deny there's an issue. They act surprised when people bring in their defective items.

I think it's smart to wait it out. I'm doing the same, so I'm right there with you!

As for LV converting to the new canvas, that sounds pretty legit to me because - although it was initially meant for the Artsy - the switch has been evidenced by others having the same issue with different styles (such as Delightful, Totally, and now Sully).

I have to say that I'm pretty content with the bags that I have, and I really do not have the desire to play roulette with their current inventory.

Smart move!!

I just checked mine out and didn't see anything but I will keep an eye on it. Are you going to bring it in?

Do you know when they stopped making the Old Style Delightful? Thank you

Well....I did ruin the handle myself after only one month by trying to "wash out" water spots, this causing the cachet a to dry...so I know I would have to replace the handle at my own cost- which I don't mind because it was totally my fault- but then I noticed the glaze peeling along the zipper and then when I flipped over the purse, along the bottom. So I called the customer service and they said that I would need to bring it in- but that the handle is separate from the canvas issue and they would assess the canvas. I'm still afraid of what they will say! Or maybe it's the look I fear from the SA! I'm going to bring it in, in a couple of weeks since I live 5 hrs away from the store. The customer service person was kind and said they would undoubtedly do a return right away if it is a known issue like Artsy, otherwise would maybe send it away or email pictures off. Which is why I'm curious about anyone else having issues with Sully since it is the same new rubbery canvas glaze as the Artsy and my glaze looks like the peeling posted in the first post of this forum. Thanks for your info! Hope your Sully holds up! I love my Sully and the Artsy (but opted Sully for the zipper), so you made an excellent choice!

Don't worry about the handle. They should give you a new bag or store credit regardless. Good luck and keep us updated!
