Argan Oil, What brand do you recommend? And, where do I buy it??

can you let me know where this Mylumee store is in Toronto, I prefer to go and get some more information instead of buying something blindly online and I couldn't find the store by searching the name.

I found a brand on hautelook that I swear by. It's called Chaacoca. It's from an LA based salon. The only negative is the argan oil doesn't have a dropper like Josie Maran does. I have found that their argan oil seems more pure than JM though. When used on heat rashes I get overnight relief.

They make pure argan and hair and body products. Their shampoo is amazing. I highly recommend it.

Try Russell Organics Argan Oil. I use the maracuja oil and its amazing and prices are great!

In Australia, I purchase it from fresh fragrances and cosmetics. As its an American brand, I'm sure you will be able to find it anywhere, and it will be much cheaper than here in Aus.

I tried the search option but really was unable to find the specific info I was hoping for, as there are not that many threads about where or what brand to buy.

I am fairly new to the concept of argan oil and would love to use it on my hair and skin (and face). I spoke with a lady from the Kiehl's counter at Nordies and she said the argan oil they carry is not 100% argan oil. It is mixed with other types of oil like olive oil, etc. So, that doesn't sound like I can put it on my face.

Josie Maran's product is pricey but is carried in my local Sephora's and I've tried calling several Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, and Fruitful Yield, but with no luck. They just don't carry it.

Sorry about the long post, now comes my question(s). For the ones who are currently using Argan oil for your face and hair, where did you buy yours and how much did it cost you (and please let me know the brand and the size of bottle too please)?

TIA!!:smile1:
I have been using Saadia Organics 100% Argan Oil for the past 2 years. Owners are based in Canada (Super nice ~ Joel). I am not sure which one of them is Moroccan; they get their Argan Oil directly from their source in Morocco ~ no third party involved.

I have tried a few brands that are available at Sephora but nothing compare to Saadia's Argan. Do check their website www.saadiaorganics.com so you can research on it. They also posted a couple of reviews on how you can tell pure Argan from not. Also, review on some brands offered at Sephora (beware! a lot of expensive argan products available in high end stores are not really pure Argan).

I have been suffering from Acne all my life. This is one of the few items that worked for me.It helped dried out Acne fast whenever i have outbreaks. Super great on skin dryness, great around the eye natural application ~ great on wrinkles (i do not have to buy an eye cream), an overall skin care product. :smile1:

I love Josie Maran's argan oil but it is very expensive. I recently purchased Physician's Formula argan oil ($14.99) but I'm waiting until I run out of the JM before I use it.
