If you live in canada you can get the organic/nature "live clean" at walmart or shoppers drug mart. They make an argan oil conditioner, and also an oil treatment that I saw on their site.
I've been using the conditioner though, and it smells lovely!

I am currently using Josie Maran's argan hair oil.
I like it, but I thik after this I'm going to try the natural oil instead of an overpriced $30 bottle.

Moroccan Oil is for your hair and not 100% Argan oil (full of silicone based products).

Here is the ingredient listing (note how far down argan oil is..); Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, Butylphenyl, MethylPropional, Argania Spinoza Kernal Oil (Aragan Oil), Linseed (Linum Usitatissimum) Extract, Fragrance Supplement, D&C Yellow-11, D&C Red-17, Coumarin, Benzyl Benzoate, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone

I can suggest this brand, that can be found at Whole Food :http://aaasheabutter.com/index.php?pr=Uses_of_Argan_Oil

Wow! I just look at the back of mine from Sallys:sad:. Hubs and I have only a corner left. After that we are done. I just looked up moroccan oil and I am suprised for the price it is not 100% either. We bought some Carol's Daughter Hair Balm and Amen oil this pass weekend before entering this thread. Glad I did.

I use the Live Clean argan oil treatment and it's amazing.

I have been using argan oil for a few months now and I absolutely love it. My argan oil is 100% organic certified argan oil from Melvita, which is a great French all-organic company that is finally available in US too :) You can get yours at Beautorium, Melvita website for 24$ for 1.7 oz (again this is pure oil, no extras).
This oil has many uses: I used it on my face as a moisturizer and to heal pimples (it healed my huge pimple overnight!), i also added it to my body moisturizer and foot treatment with great results, i sometimes add it to conditioner too- my hair is oily, so i just use two drops. You can also use it on your cuticles! Even though the price may seem high, it is worth it- i only need one drop for my face and two drops for my body (mixed with body lotion). My only gripe is with the bottle- sometimes it leaks but maybe I got a defective one.

you can get Melvita on their website too- usa.melvita.com (should be available), or skinbotanica (but i think it is backordered on there too). wow, this oil is a popular one!

Too many products on the market, and too many empty promises... When it comes to argan oil, I tried many suppliers and brands, well, whatever is available in GTA, but way too many of them don't feel real. Either the oil is too tick and sticky, or has some smells and what not. From what I learned pure argan oil is not dark, but light, and clear. There is no smell whatsoever. So if you find the one that's scented, for sure you are not getting PURE Argan oil without additives in it.

Second thing, if you are getting a 1L bottle for $40, then again, rest assured that you are far from a real argan oil! The Argan oil is EXPENSIVE, since it's hand made, hard to make, and can be only imported from Morocco, since there are no argan trees anywhere else!

So far for me, the Mylumee store in Toronto has the best price, and their oil feels right for my skin. It is very pleasant on the face, nails and lips. It's not greasy and penetrates nicely. Unfortunately, it's still pricy for my budget to use it, so I do it moderately and try to make it last longer.

Cheers,
Ruthie
