My husband likes LV and has a wallet and belt. My mom likes LV and buys one or two bags a year, which we sometimes swap and share. My MIL and SIL also own a few pieces, though I'm unsure as to which/the number. I have some friends who also wear LV.

Nope. No one among my family members or friends has LV bags. My husband is neutral- he just asks that I buy the bags from my own account and not from our joint household expense account. It's actually surprising that I don't know more handbag fans because I live in an expensive suburb of NYC where designer bags in general are popular. So I'm grateful I can talk about my obsession here on TPF! My mother would never have considered spending over $50 on a bag. But she died quite young and didn't enjoy much in life. Her passing makes me want to enjoy the here and now more than she did (within reason. No one should put their financial security or future security on the line for a handbag).
No- there’s no one to obsess with! My sister and I were both avid Coach lovers and she has two LV bags now but it’s not an addiction lol
I used to drag my older son to the mall when he was younger -16 ish- and he’d try on all the sunglasses ( making the security guard very nervous). He has an LV wallet but he’s content. Sometimes I share my addiction with my hair stylist. I’ve known her for 14 years- but she definitely doesn’t obsess. It’s great to be able to come to Tpf where it’s normal haha!

I've got one friend who loves Kate spade but to her credit has learned to nudge me and say, "what's that's? when we see one out, ha!
My mom, like others likes nice things but can't bring herself to buy it. She and my dad worked hard and retired and can pretty much do what they want but she can't bring herself to get anything, even though she loves my stuff.
As a result she carries the most hideous knockoff my dad bought her in Korea. I've told her the backstories on how the are made and what they contribute to but she insists on using it. My dad got it for her and thats all she cares about. Kinda sweet...

As a result she carries the most hideous knockoff my dad bought her in Korea. I've told her the backstories on how the are made and what they contribute to but she insists on using it. My dad got it for her and thats all she cares about. Kinda sweet...

I have a sister that I can discuss handbags with and she also shares in the passion of buying LV handbags. Other than my sister, I do not know anyone that shares my enthusiasm or buys LV handbags.
I am not friend's with anyone that enjoys bags. My friend's fiance works at corporate Coach, but that's about it. My mom and sister both own maybe 2 LV bags each, maybe a couple of SLGs each, but definitely not obsessed with the brand or anything. I do run my purchases past my mom. I just showed her last weekend what bags I am considering and she picked the Clapton PM, which is my 1st pick, too. So that was nice, but I can't talk LV every week and expect her to suffer through it. That's why I come here. My fiance listens.. and occasionally buys me something. He owns a couple of things himself, a messenger, pair of sneakers, couple of wallets.. like others have said, I listen to his dribble about his 1972 Corvette, he can listen to me talk about bags.

My sister appreciates bags, but doesn't spend money on them. The one LV bag she has is from me!

Omg! Mine loves his boat too.... so much so I named the boat the Mistress.......
