Are your friends and family members into LV handbags like you are?

I got my mom into LV and other designer things. But she usually just wears the same LV bag every time I see her, it drives me nuts!!

None of my friends or family really get it. I spoil my youngest sister in law and she has about 4 LVs I purchased for her and she treats them well, but won’t buy any for herself even though she can afford it.

It’s funny because I wasn’t even into LV until a few months, then my boyfriend bought my first purse. Now I’m sucked in and have purchased some things on my own

I only have one friend that’s into LV, but luckily my boyfriend is into LV so I can share my wishlist with him. My family does not understand my obsession at all, so I’m glad I found TPF.

I gave a few relatives some of the LVs I no longer used. One loved them. Another started buying many different high end designer purses but they mean nothing to her but a thing to carry. My mom loved the items. Gave her and it was great to see her enjoy using them. My daughter thinks LV monogram is ugly.

What a perfect time to read this this bc I kind of feel down about it right now. I recently became a stay at home and I feel like I’ve been to the store a hundred times since the summer. And everyone knows me bc the baby but also bc I’m always checking out the slgs trying to decide this and that. I ordered a key pouch this morning in DE and then I went to the store bc I really wanted to try find out about mini pochette in de and the rose Ballerine Venice card holder with Monogram on the corners. I did order the card holder. I think that they prob think I’m crazy bc i swear sometimes I just visit. And now I just feel like a foolish feeling... I def have a problem ‍♀️

I use to have a group of friends who loved luxury items when I lived in California.
Now that I moved back home to the East Coast I don’t really know anyone that has LV, Chanel, etc.
I try to keep in touch with my old friends still but it’s not the same. Sometimes we do exchange luxury presents around Xmas time still.

My boyfriend listens to me talk about this and that and he’s a good sport about it. He won’t let me buy him anything from LV though lol.

My mom does like nice things but she would never spend that much on herself so I just buy stuff for her and surprise her.
That way I can at least treat her and it also makes me feel good because we both can share and enjoy luxury purchases together.

Nope!
Do have one friend in another state who has lots!
If any of my family and some friends would come to visit me, I would have to think of somewhere to hide my LVs They don't understand why someone would pay a high price for any handbag.
My DH can't understand why I would either.

Omg! You sound like me! When I lived in North Carolina it was fine. Now that I moved to Massachusetts I have no one that gets it! I actually get some negative comments.....
I am so excited that there are some ladies here meeting in April!!!
