Are people tired of Pochette Metis?

I finally bought the PM Reverse after waiting for it to be available online and in store just last week and I just got it yesterday! I actually tried the PM original a few years back but I wasn't initially wowed by the all monogram canvas. I have owned a few other bags in mono canvas in the past, but being a mum, I found this one to be more practical for my current situation and the 2 tone looks really pretty. I told my hubby it's my Reese's Pieces bag. I only get tired of watching people say the quality is bad after watching them on YT. I'll have to post my unboxing soon.

i still love my PM since 2016. But I was the opposite. I pre-ordered a reverse mono back then because it was new and with no vachetta to worry about. but I wasn’t wowed when it came. I saw the classic mono in store and my heart knew it was it. I still want a reverse PM but it’s not a priority for me now.

I had been tossing over the Mono canvas for months a few years back, with adding my name to waitlists and so forth. I did just kind of gave up and was sort of looking for what else they might bring out. Until this one came along. I never tried it in store or ever saw in person, just from watching YT it just drew me right in. One day, I may decide to get the mono canvas, but like you, it's not a priority.

I am late to the PM game. I absolutely hated it at first until the reverse monogram came on the scene, but I purchased other LV bags instead of pulling the trigger on the reverse. Now when I get alerts from LV that is back in stock, as soon as I log into LV it's gone. I had 1 in my shopping cart this morning, got distracted and now it is out of stock. The Bicolor Monogram in Empreinte leather is pure FIRE!!! I was too slow on purchasing that one also.

I actually had this thought today. Am I just over the pochette metis? I have it in the reverse monogram and I honestly don’t love the monogram plastered all over. I don’t think I will ever reach Hermes level, but I think I would rather have way more Chanel in my collection than LV. Something to ponder on....

I ordered it in the fall and returned it the following day. I loved it on other people but once I put it on crossbody, I hated having the monogram strap across my body. I just felt like there were logos everywhere...and I've never been against LV logo bags. At least on me, the monogram strap was major overkill. I hate that b/c it seemed so functional otherwise. I thought about doing the empreinte in Turtledove (I love that shade in bags) instead, but it doesn't have the same "thrown on", totally casual vibe (for running errands, etc) that the mono has. The empreinte, though beautiful, seems a bit dressier and like I'd have to take care of it more.
