Are mismatched Nikki panels a given?

I do that too. I have a dark brown mini nikki, and one side is more distressed while the other is smoother.

My dark brown nikki is the same way!

Ick I don't like those. Love the colors but the mismatched look is too obvious.

My persimmon Nikki has mismatched panels on one side. One panel a little darker, shinier and smoother. It doesn't bother me and is already starting to look less noticable. I have carried the bag for a week straight.

I was just on the site and noticed this too on the Rose nikki!!! It's so obvious!!!

I have a Sea Green nikki that has matching panels as far as color goes but one side is wrinkly and one side is smooth and it drives me nuts.

I've had mixed experiences. I can understand slightly varying textures, but colors? Absolutely not. I remember awhile back there was that Sage Nikki up on evilbay that looked to be almost 2 completely different colors...
