This person only has one feedback, and a private one too. But this is one of those classic bags that I would love to add to my collection. Seller is local to me too so I would pick it up before the holidays. The "VERIFIED AT AN OFFICIAL HERMES BOUTIQUE" sort of made me worry tho coz I don't think H would do that. Thoughts?

Hello everyone,


i just bought an Hermes 40 etoupe clemence from a reputed seller in my town, however a friend of mine who also sells vintage birkins though it might be fake, her reason was because the inside pocket sleeve (both zipped and non zipped) is not made of suede....and the stamep inside the box (M) is very close to the edge. can someone please help and advice

Hi Bababebi and other authenticators whom can kindly give me a hand:

I just received the Picotin PM sold by Ichic (ON Mallerie). I am a bit shocking to see that there is no metal feet under the bottom! As I have never been given a image of the bottom, also to show you as well, I am very concern about that if the 4 missing feet will change your opinion of the authentication. I will send you the photo of it as well.

By the way, as you can see on Ichic Web, the bag is described: "Brand New", However, there are some doggy pressed uneven inside the bag. Do you think it is acceptable as a "Brand New" bag? Do you think I should return this bag?

Comments I have requested a photo of any serial No. from the bag. Also asked re PM given Louis Vuitton PM is the smaller of any style of a bag yet this seller claims this is the large size, Sent it yesterday, no answer so sent a follow up today, still no answer.

I see the seller did not put a picture of the base of the bag in their original auction. I have never seen a Pico without feet. I suggest you return the bag. In addition, in my opinion, Pristine means Unused.

The manner of lining the pockets changed in the last few years. Since you have the bag, why don't you post a couple of nice clear pictures of each end of the zipper?

Sorry Polly I replied in haste. Some Pictotins do not have feet, all of mine do, but there have been some made recently without the feet. I reviewed the sellers pictures again carefully, I stand by my original assessment of the bag, in my opinion it is authentic.

The condition is something you will have to discuss with the seller though.

I bought an Hermes Birkin on eBay years ago. I just want to confirm the fact here that since it came it is a fake then right? Even if compared to videos and pics of authentic ones it looks really real but the authenticity card is fooling me...

Thank you very much for your quick reply. Your answer are very very helpful to me. There is just 1 more Question, about the size:

According to the measurement on the reseller's website:
W18 x H18 x D13cm (W7.1" x H7.1" x D5.1")

According my measurment (Please see my pictures, Do you think I measure it in a wrong way?)
W13.5 x H13 without the handles or H21with handle x D10cm (W5.25" x H8.25" x D4")

I checked on the forum earlier, member CHIOCO mentions Picotin sizes are:

GM: H30xW30xD20
MM:H22xW24xD18
PM: H17XW20XD14

nothing similar to mine. As this is my first ever Picotin, I have no knowledge about the sizes at all. Mine seems smaller than anyone else Picotin PM? Is it acceptable? Or you think my measurement method is wrong?
