Thank you for doing this! I look forward the your posts.

I have two new LV bags and I too have been doing research on this, so I'm holding out to follow your lead. I bought Apple Guard and was ready to use that - but it seems like every time I'm ready to use it I'll read about a negative experience. I really wish LV would appease all their devoted buyers and tell everyone the best way to proactively care for vachetta! I'll stay tuned.....

They do .... And they say to leave it alone.

I however, used kiwi spray on my turenne and omg, three years later she is pristine with a beautiful even patina developing.

I just bought my Graceful mm and the sa said to use a damp cloth with water only, I have ordered apple garde but think I may be too nervous to use it! At the moment I'm just not using the bag if it's forecast to rain, hoping the summer comes soon :)

Apple Garde has always work wonderfully for me! It never fail me. I just purchase the Boite Chapeau Today and I spray her right away. I haven’t got any bad experience from it. One tips I always do is ...spray far away & it will never fail you :)

Following! I did patina champ on my neverfull. But I also went back and forth!
Just new here and would like to know that you did both patina champ and the apple garde spray? It yes how did you do that? Start with the patina champ and how long you wait before spray with apple garde? How often do you do this? Thank you.

Here is my bucket bag, which is about 5 months old. Used patina champ method multiple times and then also sprayed with Appleguard. No water stains. I do love the slightly warmer color of the vachetta. I’ve been caught in the rain with it multiple times. No spots. And I should say when I I used the patina champ method my cloth was more than damp.

Hi there, your bag is gorgeous. How often do you do this process? I just got my MG noe bb and would like to get some ideas. Did you treat with anything else? Thank you.

Thanks for starting this. It is a lot of information that I can learn here. How are your bags doing now? Did you end up spray both bags regularly? Did it slow down the patina process? Did your speedy a bit darker than your NF?

LOL! Thank you so much! I’m hoping this is helpful to somebody who’s trying to decide what to do!
It is!!!! Thank you!
I’ve been so undecided.
BTW- I have a preloved speedy 25b. It’s lightly patinated. If I finally decide... can I Apple Guard a patinated Vachetta? I can’t find any answers on U-tube. Here on this forum I bet I will.

I hope you don’t regret it. A year down the road, apple garde will dry the leather and cause discoloring. I will never touch apple garde again after my experience. I threw all the cans I had immediately after. When I read people spraying their bags with it, I just sit by and watch them come to regret it. I’ll never recommend apple garde to anyone. It killed four of my very expensive bags. Never again. All my bags with vachetta looks good after years of use with natural patina and no treatment.
Thank you for your explanation.... I’m sorry about your experience. :( I’ve been SO undecided. I am a new Luxury LV gal buyer. And all the advice and experience of LVers is so welcomed.
Its interesting that I cannot find one Jerusha Coutures U tube video on protectant sprays on her bags. Has anyone found one of her videos on it ?
