Hahaha! That’s OK! If it makes zero difference, I’m OK with that. And I haven’t seen anybody yelling that it ruined their bag, so I figured I’d give it a try. We’ll see!
If you find yourself with a third bag to test, I'm exceptionally fond of this. I've never tried apple garde so it may be a similar product, though.

Yep, I’ve heard that people have a lot of success with the Kiwi spray! I think my next bag will be DE and I probably won’t treat that one at all. But if/when I get another bag with vachetta, I might try this stuff!

Kiwi Protect-All is the #*%€, yes!! All their spray products seem to be pretty ace, actually, I’ve also used the suede version on bags and UGGs, the boot version and something called Camp Dry on nylon (gym bags, backpacks).Thumbs up. I have never tried any Kiwi on LV, but I <think> that I would.

Must figure out how to follow this thread! I’m very interested in seeing your results, OP, and thanks for doing the research for the benefit of bagkind.

Awww, y’all are very welcome! Off to spray a second coat on my NF Pochette. More pics coming as soon as that’s done!

And here’s the finished Neverfull! I sprayed the whole bag twice with Apple Garde, waiting about 30 minutes between coats. It’s completely dry now, and it worked out great! No weird spots on the leather or shininess on the canvas or anything. I think the key is to use light coats. If you spray too much and soak the leather, that’s probably not gonna end well.

I sprayed my Speedyb 30 with Apple Garde and it looks perfect.

Good luck with your experiment, honestly I wish you’d spray both with Apple Garde :amuse:
Haha! I considered it, especially after seeing how well it went with my Neverfull! But I like the idea of the Patina Champ method for the Speedy because I think that bag will look so great with a nice patina. I think the Apple Garde might slow the patina process on the Neverfull. At least, I kinda hope it does because I love the look of light vachetta with DA.

BTW, I meant to post this yesterday and completely forgot! For those who aren’t familiar with Apple Garde, this is what the can looks like. You can purchase it on Amazon, although my can is a few years old and I don’t remember where I ordered it from.

I just bought a can on Amazon. Sometimes they run out of stock but if you check back they restock.
