I just got the gray Sabrina too! I would use both Apple conditioner and then spray it. I typically do that with the lighter color leathers. As long as you don't use cleaner and/or rub the glaze off, you should be fine!

Thank you so much! I will definitely do that. I've never used the Apple products before, any quick tips for a newbie like me?

Will this protect the bag from any color transfer issues? I read the thread about the camel Sabrina (althoo it is patent) & got concerned.

I was wondering this same thing...I love the Apple conditioner but I don't want to jack up my beautiful new Sabrina! Thanks ladies. Now I just need to get some of the Apple spray.

Again, I am sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. I only have 2 coach bags (so far). I have the black legacy satchel #10330 and an espresso colored Lindsay. They are both in new condition. I just want to take care of them like I should. They each have thier own type of leather. Looking for hints, ideas, direction, comments whatever anyone will give me on care. What should I use on each? How often do you clean? Thanks so much for any and all help. I have learned SO much from you guys in the short time I have been trolling the site :smile1:

I use the Apple Conditioner on my leather bags... It works great.. If you have not used it before add a little to a section of the bag that only you can see and let it dry, you will see how the leather takes to bag..

If there is no issue you can go to town. The kit comes with a cloth use that if not use a cotton cloth. let it dry in a well for a day and place them away.

I only do this when the bag is dry right before I use it or upon inspection, I do not do it regularly but I think others do..

since winter is coming i am looking into protecting all of my coach bags and i'm looking for a bit of guidance!

i have 4 leather bags (sabrina, audrey, brooke and metallic claire) 1 signature w/ lots leather trim (cricket) and 1 op art sateen (brooke)

i have a couple of things i want to take care of: protecting my bags from the awful canadian winter of too much snow and slush and salt; protecting my bags from any possible colour transfer, since my jacket is navy and has stained a couple of school bags (although not so badly after the first winter); general stain prevention on my fabric bags, and maintenance of my leather bags.

i am wondering what you experienced girls would recommend for the different materials that i'm working with and the various things i'm concerned about. i am planning on getting some apple conditioner, but if there's anything else you recommend i will look into that as well! i've also seen different advice for different types of leather, so i want to make sure that i have all of my bases covered and none of my bags ruined!

hopefully you guys will have some advice for me, i'm coming to rely on those who have been addicted to coach for way longer than me! thanks in advance :)

I just want to double and triple check so I'm on the right track here...

Can I use Apple cleaner on the Peyton signature sateen shoulder bag I plan to buy?

I also have an Ali that I believe is done out of similar material (it's a signature fabric, anyway, with some type of a soft leather handle maybe?). Can I use it on that too?

What about the trim on the Peyton? It has some kind of a patterned shiny leather, and then leather for the corners.

TIA!

Do not use the Cleaner use the Conditioner... The Apple Conditioner acts like a soft cleaner and Conditions at the same time. The Apple Cleaner is only for bags that are so dirt that you have given up hope.. Like a bag you purchased super used...

As to Pnt Leather I would wait and see what a nother Tpf'er tells you.. I have never Condition any Pnt leather not even my old ones, they just wipe clean.. with a wet towel.
