IF there is nothing else you can do to clean this off, I would buy some Tarrago leather dye in a similar color and just re-dye it. Tarrago has many colors, and you should be able to find one just like this wallet.
Tarrago is sold on Amazon and many other places. Good luck!
The sister might want to find a sealant for the leather too, unless the Tarrago dye seals itself so it doesn't bleed or rub onto something later on...

Tarrago makes leather waterproof, so I believe that means sealed too. I'd have to go read the info to be sure.
You can get a kit for @ $8 which has the preparer, brush & sponge, and the dye.

oops typo... *sabrinas

ok first off, i want to make a confession, i thought Apple Care was made by Coach.. lmao. silly me!

secondly I know there's a post out there comparing Apple Care and the Coach conditioner...

but... i wanna know if anyone has used Apple Care on their colored leather?

I have a few scratches on my julianne that i want to buff out, but i don't know if Apple Care will leave white patches..

thoughts?

I use rain and stain as well as the moisturizer on my berry Sabrina. A lot of people do - it has been discussed in the Apple and Coach thread a few times. She'll look great with some Apple!

That reminds me, I need to Apple and spray my Julianne. I MUST say though, she was caught in a downpour the other day (I WAS FREAKING) and she was JUST fine!!! Not a spot or anything. I shouldn't have switched out of my "rainday bag" coated canvas HS tote...I know BETTER!!! Thanks goodness all was well.

Apple that beauty UP!!!!

my teal julianne has been having some run ins with rain this whole week... dark spots, i was worried it'll leave a mark, but it dried up in no time without a trace.

i should get me some apple conditioner... whats the spray all about?

I just used the Apple Care on my never yet carried teal Sabrina. There was a tiny bit of color transfer onto the white cloth, but it was really a very small amount- less than you would see wiping your face with a napkin when you are wearing makeup. It really did seem to make the bag look better. There was a little scuff near the bottom that probably nobody would have ever noticed but me, but it was driving me nuts. Now I can't see it at all :D I haven't done the spray yet, but that's the next step.

Oh, leatherstuff.com has a 20% off deal going right now too. The coupon code is purse forum

Apple rain and stain repellent, I usually just call it apple guarde. Makes rain roll off, protects against color transfer (to lighter colored leather), and other stain protection. It made me feel more comfortable to carry my bags knowing they would be okay.

THANKS! how long is the sale offered til?

I don't know about the cleaner, I only purchase the Apple conditioner. The cleaner is not good for some Coach leather, I've heard it rubs the white dye off the white Coach leather purses and I know you're not supposed to use cleaner on legacy bags or maybe even bleeckers (might rub off the burnished treatment on the leather). I'd just stick with the conditioner (moisturizer) and save your leather cleaner to use on your leather shoes or something when they're dirty. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

On the web site I only see the Conditioner as a duel pack with the clearer??
What do you do if your leather bags are really dirty... I buy on ebay..

^^They do sell the 8 oz. bottle of Apple Care conditioner separately on their website. None of my purses have ever gotten so dirty that I need to consider a stronger type of cleanser. I can't really answer that question. Bunny says she successfully cleans vintage leathers with the Apple cleaner. Just test it on the underside of the handle first to make sure the dye will not come off.
